  4. its MAN-BEAR-PIG Half man. half bear. half pig.
  5. Yes I agree, that is the best engine bay I have ever seen. not overdone like a lot of the jap cars, and with a snail that fills half the engine bay top is it off perfectly great stuff
  6. tocchie, you smoked a new clutch from an FG in standard trim allready? jeeeeeez that's f*ckin extreme
  7. dude that's an excellent idea! in the scrutineering they never checked any vin numbers and all they go by is colour of car on that small 5cm X 5cm picture on the windscreen, but seein as he has called up and said he isn'd goin its "just a thought" now, What exactly happened to Gorans ute anyway? superdrift gone bad or taken out ... looks like he's bumped off a few thing on the way???

    Xr6t Ute

yer I have spend around 5 for my power but could have been cheaper if I didn't have a cracked rear turbo housing haha, The suspension isn't as good as the Maloo utes (my mates VZ maloo handles like a lowered typhoon) but this is because of the solid axle rear end, good for loading up the back with a few bikes and gear but a little bad for handling, BUT... you wont have to worry about snapping axles like on the sedans untill you go nuts with power as theres no CV's to worry about! All in all the suspension is still nice I do a bit of racing in the country and on long drives its real comfortable. Other than solid axle and leafs on rear (which I love for motocross) they handle them easy! an xr clutch wont take more than 280 MAX
  10. heyeeah! what a champ! I bet he's the coolest cat in the old folks village pullin all the hot grandmas haha, when im 80 I want this record!
  11. I have a 3" dump pipe on mine, its the APS 3" but its pretty much identical to the stocker though if that helps, bigger dump pipe means bigger numbers up the top of the rev range in more extreme power ranges
  12. why the hell are you going to motorvation if your not going to ravage some tyres?????????????????????????
  13. its not really needed mate, there are allready tie down points in the corners

    336rwkw

Hey guys. I have finally got myself into the 300 club after sitting on 280 for too long! I fit a RAP1D's V.2 cooler and piping kit in my garage, this is good gear. Fitting turned out to be not as long or hard of a job I thought it would be! This equipment fit real easy with just a bit of trimming, and piping was as simple as 'push in and tighten the clamp"! The only mod I did to this gear was TIG in a 1/4" BSP thread underneath the cold side piping so to retain the factory boost gauge sender unit as I want to keep the factory look in the cabin. standard setup All the small piping replaced, that's a lot of crap Making adjustments to fit the UBP. It didn't feel right cutting into my car at all Rapids setup lifted into place All plumbed up New piping setup At the same time I gutted the APS cat as the core had shifted and crushed at the back. this turned out to be a bad BAD decision. It was limped it to Simons workshop at Xtreme Ford Tuning to have the walbro intank fitted and be tuned, on the initial run he realised that it was over boosting to around 18PSI with 344rwkw!!!!!! (I have factory internals so this was bad) I then had the bigger wastegate mod done to get it down to safe boost and still had overboost issues (thanks to a lack of a cat......), but after Simons mates fitted one of his XFT high flow cats boost was normal and he managed to pull 336.5rwkw on the rollers!!! On the rollers at the XFT workshop Nice Im real happy with the ute now, its real strong on the road and I have tyres that need changing already. Cheers to Simon and Mike and the guys from Extreme Ford Tuning for helping me out, I really appriciate it.
  16. yer im sure a lot of us ute drivers will be keeping an eye on this so keep us posted mate, good luck anyways hey
  17. yer the process in choosing vehicles is definately interesting, but choosing a standard car over a modified vehicle is bullsh*t! I remember when I was driving in motorvation 2007 and there were some stock cars with a sterio and 'fully sic uleh' wheels... Wft... anyways... be sure to bring you flanno shirts and jumpers so you fit in with the kwinnana locals hahaha

Plus high mounts look AwEsoME! Good stuff mate you should be prowd of going your own direction in terms of modifications and pulling an excellent result! Have fun and good luck trying to hear your sterio over the jet plane noise from that turbo haha!
  19. yer I have an APS stainless system on mine from the turbo back, all I did was gut the cat. The cat core looked ok but everyone was telling me they don't flow well, it sUUUURE flowed better after gutting! (proved by major overboost issues haha) Good system but its pretty quiet and it doesn't drone which is excellent.
  20. there is thousands of thread on this mate, happy searching!

    Clubbie V's Xr6t

The only thing better about an XR8 is that they sound better... I hate to say it but XR8s are the slowest V8's hey
  22. spotted tocchi in the BunKy FG at Hillaries on sunday, I wanted to run to the ute and go for a play after you but I was too pissed to drive
  23. haha, just let him do it guys. he is the jack-ass that posted up for ideas and is disregarding what every single person on here is telling him. Why the f*ck dont you like any of the Nizpro, process west plenums? that's the best equipment you can buy for our cars ! go ahead lukedohc I want to see you have a go at this one haha
  24. dump pipe isn't needed to get low 300's
  25. yer sure, but at some point you will need to have the boost sender unit screwed into something, that something has to be metal thread too so pretty much back to the same drama in the first place. I tried to think of how to go about it for ages too mate haha
