  2. ok guys I have just fit the malwoods shifter in my garage then! I didn't have a hoist as advised, I only used car ramps (I made extensions so I can drive up them without ripping front bar off), and car stands unter rear axles. It took me around 2 hours. The only thing that had me a bit confused was the fact that the gearbox crossmember (which is meant to be removed to get the the shifter bolts) was not in the way at all and I got all the bottom 4 bolts out in about a minute, while leaving in the crossmember! awesome - just saved me 30 mins of pissing around trying to support gearbox etc. The hardest part of the job is EASILY getting the old stick out of the gear know to attach the new shorter malwoods made stick. Hope this helps for anyone thinking of fitting it themselves too. Oh yeah and the shifts are pretty fun now like a race car haha chirp chirp chirp hahhahaa

  4. haha, my mate went there after blowing his stock BA 5.4L V8 (blowing it up on low oil not supercharging). After a long wait and $12,000 out of pocket, he got the car back with a stock setup again along with billet oil pump gears and a stronger mustang block from the states. You can make up your on mind on where to take it mate. You know where we all take ours and we're happy as!

    Pbr Brake Pads

    hey guys, I want to get some more PBR performance pads for the F6 and don't know where to buy them, I work away and need dad to get them for me and thier website doesn't give any details on distributors etc. Is it a repco or coventries kind of thing or what? Cheers guys (Im in Perth too if that makes a difference)

  9. I filled mine through the fill hole... no worries at all........ I was thinking about this too if its possible to pour it in from the top when changing shifter, Im waiting to do mine when I get home too mate!
  10. as far as burnouts go they seem to be allright hey, I try and do as many as I can on weekends and have never had a problem

  13. yer mate I agree with all the other people commenting on your results, they just don't add up. I remember from the testing that Simon from XFT did on those atomic cams is they are only good in an extreme situation up high in the rev range, and rob power everywhere else... I'd definately put the standard cams back in. Mate just to give you an idea of power to mods, look at eveyones signatures... look at mine I have 336 and I haven't done half the mods you have and torque wise im the same too so theres no argument there... who is tuning this again???

  18. hey guys I want to get a MW short throw shifter for the F6 so it feels a bit less like changing gears in the Kombi, Is it possible to fit these yourself? im allright with tools and that but im not a mechanic and don't want to piss around on my time off dropping the gearbox and that, cheers

  23. Am I the only one suprised that this car was pushing over 400RWKW on a stock engine??? Sorry to hear about your dramas but seriously, 350rwkw is the max safe limit, any more than that on an unopened engine Typhoon internals or not, is running it thin eh!
