    Done. as a few people allready kow I like to be a bit different when it comes to cars (my van), and although XR8 utes are not rare, a whippled KB charged ute is not as common as spiced Turbos, though they always make me smile when I see one spooling up! Have just looked over my finances for next year, have decided ill be cracking the case and replacing rods and pistons to ensure I will make a safe reliable 400rwkw is achieved. Well I figure.... if you charge it, I as well go a bit further and do it with style! cant wait for February now!!! Cheers for all the posts and help guys, "headsex" ill probably be in toutch early in the year mate. Kevo !!!

    about number three PD chargers, ...................can you get some information on them, or do you know where I can speak to someone about them? Plus the screw type chargers have the best sound to them over centrifical blowers YEAH!!! That sounds about the best setup after all the blowers I've been looking at, and yer I think I know the name of the *unnamed* haha, or I think I do...

    In reply to getting a classic camaro or mustang, I have had my time with old cars and want something that doesnt rust so easy, and break down all the time, and catch fire. im over them hey. Not to offend everyone in this forum (talk about 8's in a fords 6 chat), but im pretty comfortable with an all round blown package for 15 - $20,000, if that means a MWS (Marks Work Shop) intercooled blower setup with 475hp at the rubber, then left over money for brakes and wheel package. Suspension is sorted allready. whats so good about kenne belle blowers? intercooled Vortechs (which are a proven reliable supercharger) make the same power and are much more common in drive in drive out applocations.

    yer venom xr6 im swinging towards the screw type charged XR8, I know a turbo will be faster, but the only racing ill be doing is having fun at traffic lights along with the rare motoplex strip run, I want the ride that is FUN! plus I love doing burnouts and sliding around the streets so that's selling the charged 8 for me too. For around 350 - 390rwkw would you need to do internals other than clutch on a BF XR8?

    wow, doesnt take long to get a reply on this site! yer its interesting how many people prefer V8s for the odd weekender over the turbo, but that's understandable give city traffic. 03XR6T - thanks for the advicce but as open minded I am to holdens and fords, I am kinda a ford guy so it definately between these two, the LS6's are GREAT engines though... Ford_esky - yer if I wasnt going to boost an 8 I would go a turbo for sure, but theres no chance I am driving a naturally aspirated ute, 6 or 8. but this has helped my decision along a bit though, cheers for ya two cents guys, I will post up the build in the 300+ forum in a few months either way oh yer, Dagabond, ive seen blown 8's on here too that's why I posted this so yer... get off my back ey haha

    hey guys, im new to this forum so how ya goin, I will be buyin a BF ute within the next two months and cant decide on an XR6T or an XR8. It will purley be a weekender fun car as I work away, but I still want it reliable. I am prepared to spend roughly 15K on performance, a blower if its an 8 or on fruit for a turbo. Fuel economy and that stuff is of no concern to me. My brother in law (SPUDMUFFIN) has a MII 6T and I love it, but I have always loved blown V8's................ so what is everyones opinion?? im really stuck!!!
