Hi guys, Quick question, A wholesale buyer from a big Ford dealership in Perth come to my house and bought my F6, and for the price I wanted too I might add, ($27,500 for a 2005 F6 tornado). He has cashed the cheque into my bank account and wants pick up the car asap, I said only after the cheque has cleared and the funds are in my account. Should I trust this cheque and give the car to him before it clears? I have contacted him via the dealership website and dealership phone number so I know he is an employee of the AHG affiliated ford dealership so nothing suss there. He said he wants the car in the yard asap, I know the golden rule is never accept cheques but what you guys think if its from a major car dealership? Cheers

Simon from NiZpro does not run a blow off valve in his cars and has never had turbo failure as a result of there not being a BOV. From memory I think he stated a 2 second better time around the track (can't remember which one) without a BOV as the car had little to no lag (not venting all the posotive pressure). That is good enough for me. I'm now BOVless too and like it.

Hey mate, I know how you feel, lately I have been thinking what it would be like to have a different car. Ever since I lost my licence, my driving style changed and I don't do burnouts anymore and there is no point having 330+ kw on bust suburban / city roads as the only place you ccan put your foot down is on freeway entrys..... for 5 seconds..... Its a hard decision isn't it mate.... I love the ute like I imagine you love yours but 98% of the time it may as well be a normal work ute with a nice interior because you cant play in a powerful ute in traffic... Im considering getting a van for motocross to be honest

We have modded our XR6 turbos and F6's that are made for "modern day peanuts who are more concerned with fuel economy" and look what that has resulted in, 230rwkw standard to 350rwkw with just the usual changes... Why would a blown V8 be any different?

hey guys, I have a black F6 too, When I get home on the weekends I drive straight to those carwash high pressure bay places, clean it then finish off with the "SPOT FREE RINSE" . it is distilled water and leaves it better than if you were to polish it for hours. I thought it was a load of crap untill my mate showed me on his ute! Best $4 ever spent
