How much of this problem is the return orifice on the MRA vs the reg? How much of this problem is the return orifice on the MRA vs the reg? AFAIU the factory MRA is also a pinch point for return flow.

makes sense. more exhaust backpressure would make it harder for the spring to close the valve - so less would have to be better. would have thought it to be pretty marginal though.
