I recentlly upgraded from my N95 to the new iphone and I'm loving it. So much easier to use, I can get 3 days out of the battery if you turn 3G and Bluetooth of when you don't need it( very easy to do,much easier than the N95). I don't use my phone a heap though. I was never a real fan of the iphones but after having one for a few weeks now I love it. Just get one.
The guys that are going to tune my car reckon wait till about 5-6,000. In that time you can make sure you find out if there are any bugs in the car that can be fixed under warranty.
It's a ute, but I'm getting a Dec 09 XR6T for $40,950 with Luxury,Tech Pack,Mats and cab tidy. Not sure if the sedans are much dearer. I think for the 08 he's looking at it's a bit steep.
Thanks for your help guys. I may be a bit too picky about it, but the ones I've seen in those links a not quite what I'm after. I would like something that appears to be sitting lower down that what most of the ones on there do. I saw one at Fountain Gate on sunday and it had,"STIFF BUILT" written on the side. I've searched high and low but can't find anything on them. I'll need an alloy tray though. With the carring capacity on the utes as standard and need to try and keep it as close to that as possible. If I go a steel one I'll lose about 50-70kg. Thanks Again P.S- I'm in Melbourne, I didn't realize my address has vanished when the site upgraded.
Thanks for the response The tyres are only 245 wide, I think 8.5" Never new that about HID's. Better get some std globe's in. Might just chuck std BOV back in for now.
Hey guys, Took my car in for a roadie as I'm about to sell it and there are a few things on there that I am confused about, or the guy has no idea what he's talking about. It's on my 04 Xr6T sedan 1. Claimed that wheels and and tyres are incorrect( only 19in). I told him they can be ordered with 18's so there not illegal. 2. High Beam/Low Beam/Head Lights should work at the same time? I'm running HID's, but I don't think this would make a difference to the lights working. Is it correct that all should work at the same time or BS? 3. Blow Off valve venting to the atmosphere? I have a dual port BOV like the one below. It is vented back down into the Under battery intake. Is this illegal? Thanks Joel
Hey guys, Just wondering if you guys may be able to help me out with a few querks I need to have on my new ute. I need it for work and need to get a steel tray. Obviouslly FORD can't help me out with this so I was wondering if anyone knows how much a new tray will set me back. It's not going to holding big weights, max probably around 3-400kgs. It's just that I move some big/light weight stuff I've had a quick look over the net, but there's not alot around. I'd also like a pretty tough looking tray, not the standard pov ford look ones. Thanks
+1 I have the Stg 2 cooler with the under battery Intake and the only cutting was the radiator support ( no bigger than a 50c coin) and a useless piece of middle behind the fog light for the under battery intake (that's if you doing this). The Kit comes with instructions and is very easy to install, the best money I've spent is this cooler.
I'd aslo look into a replacement Cat. So. Injectors,Valve Springs, edit, cooler, cat and pump. Will go close to $3,000 and should net you around 300rwkw. If you want more power down the track I would look at a cooler that will get you to that goal. Don't buy a cheap monza one then upgrade it cause it only handles 300 and you want 350rwkw. After these mods I'd save up for a trans cooler for the auto.
