It is illegal to alter the reading on a speedo, but it is not illegal to fit a speedo to a car that has less k's. e.g your car has 30000kms you put a cluster in with 12000k, this is legal. You can not legaly change a cluster's km reading. With the right program you can reset a cluster reading regardless of km's but, this again IS ILLEGAL.

I would bet my left testical that you have a stuffed alternater and there for the batt is flat, the only other thing is if your batt has dropped a cell or 2, but either way whae you get it started again check the batt voltage when it is runing and make sure it is around 13v-14v

yeh I am insured through shannons as well. If I had just a normal t I would have gorn with aami as they were 300 bucks cheeper but I needed an aggreed val of $25k (well sort of aggreed they told me that's all they would cover it for ) They just dont feel right shannons and I will be looking around over the next few weeks.
