maby a stupid queston but do you have to bring your ba/bf along as my one is a little broke at the moment , would a ef fairmont be ok for the cruise. This will be the first time I meet any of the members and I am ken to see there mods in action and chat.

You will find that all the boxes are the same length, it is only the bolt on ends that are differant, Why would a factory tool up for differant sizes of the same thing, they use the same case and higher or lower grade internals. The best box runs i think 10 bearings and the next one 8 for example.

Remember it is only the box, i never stated it cane with all the other parts or someone to fit it. I am going to use a viper box as i have been told that they are the strongest ones of the T56. I know it is out of a v10 dodge but the bellhousing un-bolts and for $1000usd why the hell not(only found out tonight). From other post on here the other parts needed should only cost around $1300, so for less than $3000 i have a allmost new t56 with a stage 3 clutch($300+from the states). I have prsted this in responce to a thred I just red that has been closed. If you have been riped off, as some people say they feel they have, do what you do best, tell all of your friends and people you know. I owne a busness and am out to make money, but I offer a differant type of service! Fairness if I over quote a job I dont rub my hands together and laugh, I give a little back and it pays of in the way of those people tell there friends and I make 3, 4, even 5 times as much from referals. 70% of my customer bace is now from referals and I turn over nearly $160000 a year only working 3-4 days a week and I am one of the better/ cheeper priced around. Some of the sight sponcers are right get a quote, get 10 if you can it is your money, bat as I allways say dont go for the cheapest go with the one who offers you advice for free and talks to you as an equal not as an idiot/dumb ass. We are all the same we just want the most for our $ wether this is for product service or customer service (hopefully both) IT's YOUR CASH!!!

well now I am looking at a t56, I have found an aust seller who will do a group buy of 6 for $3500 ea.

should be able to buy one from ford or another seller and they should bolt up to the box the same as any other bell housing will for any other t56 / car option.

So the manual gearbox is differant, the tailshaft is differant and the diff is differant!!! so wich diff do the turbo run, is it the m78 or m86 ???? what is the differance between the gear boxes except the ratios??? I was looking at replacing it with a 6 speed if it died

I have all ways wanted a ba/bf xr6t but having a new busness I wanted to use as much funds on the busness only but bthe want/need for a ba turbo just became to strong when I saw a white n/a xr6 5speed on e-bay. My first thought was buyit for $5500 do it up for a cost of $5000 to $6500 then sellit to buy a nother xr6t. The only problem was then I brought a genuine gt kit for $1060, had an offer on a turbo motor with 60000k's for $1750 from a friend at a wreckers (no harness or pcm) and now a few more special items later it has cost me around $12000 and I havent even seen the car yet. My problem is all the fkn hot xr6t's I keep reading about on this sight and e-bay for some cheep parts. So thanks to you all for the drive and insperation / idears and thank telstra for the free internet(they stuffed me around and gave me free hi speed broad band) so I can be on here allmost 24/7. you can get a new flash tuner on ebay for $495. just plug in to yours and when you download your cars program it is then locked to your pcm, but then load up the setting you want and go. No taking an old unit to be wiped and programs re-installed at an extra cost!
