9. a full system 4'or 3.5' dump ,cat and mild twin 2.5" system is aprox $990 all bolt up. Thats the system i am going for of maby a quad for around $200 more this is the one i am going to use, i am going to open the inlet side of the cat to 4"
10. http://www.bestmufflers.com/Information/Cu...yno_Results.htm it works on that car!!!!! maby even enough back pressure to stop the boost from going up. as per other post the dump helps you make power at lower boost and stress on the motor.
11.
+2 Any chance of a bigger cat option?
i am prity sure that it is only the inlet and outlet size that is 3.5", the body is aprox 4-5" but i will find out for you all. Now how many other options do you want or should i change the hedding to, Tell me all the diiferant things you all want? I am only going as far as seeing what a group buy for a dump & cat, i will find out about the y pipe and cat only as an option as well. I am not going to stuff them around with 101 questions unless i buy a set first.
12. i guess they can i just dont want to ask them 100000000 questions till i have at least one order but they are very helpfull. Maby someone just wants a dump and you can have the cat how you split it is up to you but it prob works out dump $400, cat $230 or around that. as per the post under Any Idea's For Group Buy's?, Window shopping for blokes..... have contacted an exhaust seller and they said that they can do set's of 5, 4.00" dump or 3.5"dump and 3.50" metal cat for $630 per set. SO WHO WANTS ONE put your name here and when we get sets of 5 i will order. 304 stainless steel 4.00"(101mm) dump pipe. 3.50"(88mm) hi-flow metal catalytic converter. all are the same as in the pics on this sight http://www.xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/36 they will do twin 2.5" mild systems for under $400(i think around $360) as per the xforce set up. if any one intersted i will conferm price.
13. they will do the 3.5" domp and cat for the same price. SO WHO WANTS ONE?????? PUT YOUR REQUEST ON HERE
14. The brand is XFORCE. cheers, 3sets are spoken for, just need 2 more
Standard BF dump is 3" and the group buy one is 4" i think you can come to your own conclusions on the benifits.... I though that 4" dumps are too big and laggy if not having 350+rwkw and that 3.5" dumps are best at below that rwkws... I think most people are under 350+rwkw and would be better off getting a 3.5"
I will see if they will do the 3.5" for the same or better price. same as the link http://www.xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/36 read this http://www.bestmufflers.com/Information/Cu...no_Results.htm#
15. We could do a minimum buy of 5 dumps & 5 cats freighted to the one address at the same time for $630.00 a pair including freight. so any one in brisbane if you want one pm me and when i get 5 or 10 people who want one i will order them.
16. has anyone purchased these yet? I am about to buy them and want to know if they fit our mounting points
17. i hav contacted an exhaust seller and they said that they can do one set of 4.00" dump and 3.50" metal cat for $650 so i have invited them to do a group buy for 5 and 10 units but need to know if there is enough intrest for them. 304 stainless steel 4.00"(101mm) dump pipe. 3.50"(88mm) hi-flow metal catalytic converter.
18. it would look better if it was mounted were the xr6 badge is on the skirt, or replace the front and rear ford badge as we all know what a great car we drive, Oh and change the 5 and 2 around lol
19. who makes the single a piller pods? I want to mount my e-boost there as I have a fpv/cobolt one all ready.
20. still waiting???
21. mount it here
22. Mate I am 32 and have drivien for the army and did personal protection driving for 3 years (so I did heaps of performance driving training for this) but one year I was driving back to Brisbane from Bundy for ANZAC day in the wet and I came of the gateway at 11pm at night. The area is just after the boondal on ramp southbound, the road curves to the left, a pretty long eazy sweep with dips/low spots in it right on the bend, I was only doing 70-80kph when I hit these dips that fill with water. The car's ass dident follow the front around the turn so as soon as I hit the other side of the dip the rears bit in, but only after I had gorn a little side ways, and I just drove of the side of the road, spun 2 times on the grass and stopped 50m along, facing the same way. When I called the cops to let them know what happened, they knew exactly where I went of, as a lot of people go of there. I went back the next day to find some of my tools that flew out of the boot in the accident and you could see 5 sets of skid marks in the same area. I dident hit the brakes or swerve, it all happened in a pooftenth of a second and was out of my control. So it just goes to show that even with training and about 10 years of driving behind me it can happen to any one.
23. dont use forged internals, just the same rods and better pistons it will be cheeper still.
24. why bother with the f6 motor. You can pick up lo k's na motors for around $750. Change the valve springs and (if needed) the cams as a package for under $1500. New rods and pistons for around $2000 and you have a better motor than the f6. Total around $4500
25. Has any one thought about or tried to use an eb-ed intake manifold on there t so you can use shorter intercooler piping. If it fits wouldent it be as good as some of the after market ones, after all the origanal bbe style manifold was for the internal butterflies to shorten the runner length at 3800rpm but the turbo manifold did away with this feature.
