  1. check these out $180ea+10% http://cgi.ebay.com.au/brand-new-19inch-wh...1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. No I havent changed it. Still the factory turbo, actuator and plenum.
  3. Had a change of plans. I ended taking it to Elite today for the tune as I had an urgent job in the area and they managed to get over 350rwkw out of her on 15lb of boost.. A few runs were over this but most were around 350, so not a bad effort out of the old girl. I will post the dyno sheets on tuesday when I go back and pick up the sheets and my flash tuner that I left there.(dumb ass)
  4. Those on that sh*t box Expensive Daewoo just dont look as good(might be becaus of the car LOL) as yours. I like the silver edge on the inner edge of the spoke hole.
  5. The more I look at them the more WHO WANTS A SET OF BREMBOS......
  6. there are a few differand makers of this type of wheel. If they had of fitted I was going to paint a little of the outer rim so they looked a litle like this. But I still love those rims. I might be stuck with these in 20" insted if they fit.(2nd pic)
  7. Paul at Elite has a set of brakes on his ute that will take 90%of wheels and they are a 6 pot. There was 2 guys there on the weekend displaying them and they say that they out perform the brembos and are $4000 for the fronts (aprox). I was spewing that those weels diden't fit as I had them down to $260 a rim for 19" and $290 for 20"
  8. THOSE WHEEL SUCK........I love them and have been trying to get them for a while now. I went in last week to have them fitted in 20" just to find they DONT FIT OVER FU(KING BREMBOS. They are one of the best wheel I have seen for a while and now I am stuck with f6 ones.
  9. any more picks yet????????? who was the guy taking all those photos ?
  10. I was looking at fitting a plenum befor I had my car tuned, now have just been lead to belive that once you change to an aftermarket plenum you have a great deal of trouble controling boost, unless you mod the turbo flapper ect. How manny others have found this? And is this mod on a stock ba bottem end a bad idear? I was more looking at creating around 350rwkw at a lower boost level as apposed to max power.
  11. FU(K you must be all bored... if you all think he is so stuped why bother replying to his alittle astray comment. Now if you want to turbo your car DO IT it is your car and you will get a lot of enjoyment and anger in doing so, as I have just done, but with a little twist. I went for a motor conversion $1750 they are cheep as now and there is one on ebay for $2000, but if that is a big outlay at once for you get the bits as you go it will cost a little more and the result wont be as good (depending on how far you go). The first thing you need to know is what power fig do you want? Be realistic this is a N/A motor. I am still runing the N/A computer, the only reason you need a t computer is for the boost control, I am useing a greddy profec B2 from ebay $320. What intercooler setup you looking at? standard-plenty on ebay, aftermarket- keep away from the monza ones THEY ARE sh*t no better then the f6 ones(pruven on the weekend) either the hybred one or my recomendation is Rapids ones they are the cheepest ones that out perform ther price. Remember you want to produce as much hp at the lowest boost pressure. parts I recomend for you are 1 flash tuner $500-600 2 intank pump $130 3 injectors $50-350 4 boost controler $200-350 5 aftermarket intercooler piping $130-500 6 intercooler $150-550 7 exhaust(cat back)$500-1500 8 valve springs $300-400+450-550fitting(dont do it your self) the valve springs are needed because when the car is under boost the boost pressure forces the valves to open a little on the weeker ones Good luck with it and as people have said there is no cutting corners with these cars but with this site and ebay you can cut a lot of cost on the RIGHT parts.
  12. a lot of people are complaining about the white hurting there eyes, I dont think it is the white but more likely the blue against the white that makes it hard on the head........ as one said do you have problems useing word or wrighting on a pice of paper?
  13. plenums from either RAPID, PLAZMAMAN or the SNORT ones as long as there under a grand, have to be a min 10 buy.
  14. Silver ute with wooden tray and a big xr writen on the back, owned by a very tall guy from up the coast I think. It was expected to pull some good numbers but they stoped the run as lt was pinging/leaning out and dident want to blow anything, but basicaly the same setup as the yellow f6 that pulled 480+ except the high mount turbo.
  15. I think the greenies are more worried about the trees I cut down LOL. I am running the under batt intake so that should keep my numbers under 350rwkw(I hope) on a stock ba bottem end, just hoping to pick up a lot more power lower in the reve range. No boost graph but that would have been nice to see as well, I think it reached 15lb or at least it does on my boost guage when I drive it.
  16. finaly the boost kicks in
  17. the one and the same, near were the old mcdonalds use to be
  18. I am booked in with Bayside Performance at cleavland.... but........I am thinking of taking it to paul at elite and let them tune it for me. The only thing holding me back is I am booked in with bayside (they have my flash tuner) and I was going to be working in there area that day, so I drop it off in the morning on the way to the job and pick up after lunch on the way home and they charge around $140 per hour . Now I know people say you get what you pay for but, with all the tuning that some places have done they must have a good idear on what settings go with what upgrades, and can load these setting's as a starting point, thus cutting the time required to tune. It might only save an hour or 2 but that's around $300 for more mods or fuel.....
  19. Thanks for that. I was blown away as I know it went hard but only after 4000rpm, and as the graph shows it is dumping fuel till around then, then the boost equals it out. So the first tune will be looking at bring that power curve more to the right so the car makes power lower in the rev range around 2000rpm and then some tyre frying action till 6000rpm. A big plug for Chris from Rapid and his cooler's, with each run it looked like the power went up not down as with the cheeper type of coolers. Now all left to do is maby a plenum to achive the same power but at lower boost levels and I was looking at makind an external serge tank but with an internal bosh fuel pump to help keep the buzz down. Oh and some blody 19"or 20" rims to fit over the brembos sitting in my boot.
  20. so what were the final results in the 6cyl forced catagory? and has any one got any of those picks?????
  21. and I thought you were just trying to get the point across.LOL
  22. Ii dont think it was that it dident have the power to make over 500, but, the 6 speed auto on the dyno wouldent let it, and you could see were it was changing gears on the screen then after the change the power line was climbing but they backed off as not to damage anything I guess. A supercharged ls2 motor should put out 550+hp
  23. the dyno sheet
  24. So who do we see, or were do we find, the picks that were taken today of our rides????
  25. hey maby for a joke they are now using a flash tuner as a server and that's why it takes so long to load anything now LOL
