  3. YES A BOV IS IMPORTANT FOR PROTECTING YOUR TURBO. The bov vents the built up pressure caused when the throttle butterfly is suddenly closed when the car is under boost and the turbo is still producing boost. By venting the excess boost you greatly reduce the back pessure on the compresser wheel and the bearing. When some of the jap cars start running ultra high boost I have seen one(30psi) butterfly bent a little by the back boost and a bov not working. It might not seem much at the time but under a few years of excessive back pressure this will cause seals and the turbo to fail befor it's time. You can just vent the bov back to atmo if you want or even try a filter on the end of the crossover it might give you that wank sound you are after.

  6. I just fitted my blitz fatt timer last night and the wites you should use from the back of the barell are the 4mm white=acc, 4mm yellow=const batt+/ 4mm black with a green stripe= ignition and 2mm black with grey dash=earth. What type of timer are you using? Normaly you need constant power to feed the unit when the ignition is turned off the ignition wire to feed power as iff the key is still on and the acc is the sence wire to tell the unit that the key has been turned off.

  20. Have you thought about the tree industry, Tree lopping. I have been doing it for the last 10 years and I use to hate it untill I started to climb and now there is nothing I would rather do. I now have my own busness and only work a few days a week (but when I do work I realy work) and make over 150k a year. You are out doors, in differant locations, meeting lots of differant types of people and working out at the same time. I have met a few people who were in the professional/ uni qual jobs who left them to join us in a more physical, getting your hands dirty job and they love it. Most groundies I know are on $40-$50k a year but with no crap, just turn up drag branches, swing a rake and go home NO STRESS.
  21. is 6hrs to long for a cruze?

I(located in Brisbane) origanaly purchased it from a member from paradoxx W.A. on here but decided to go the rapid set up and ended up selling it to a nother member Dirtyboost back in W.A. and then you purchased it from him so now it is basicaly back in the Brisbane area. Realy good to see what it can do on your car, good work mate and thanks for finaly giving it a good home and when you go the hot side pipes you will finish the set of nicely.

    Aust Idol

see that's fu(ked, they do most of the hard work and get stuff all for it. My point was this guy is pritty good for a shera and this was the only way he has a chance of a line in the music industry(why you would want it fu(ks me). I hope he dosent go all the way in this comp and someone picks him up and makes him a real star, cos he seems like a nice aussie bloke with a great additude. GIVE IT A GO..

    Aust Idol

just for the record I did vote to axe aust idol. But as dico said tonight, if it wasent for comps like australian idol, record producers and the like would nave not even looked at a guy like luke so he is lucky that this comp is around to show real talent like him. A bit like this sight allowing us to see how much of a you are kimbo and for that we are all thankfull xr6 turbo.com.
