Thanks deff dont think it has any leaks other then what its doing the car is fine runs fine gonna double check tomorrow if I can see anything when u say tps do u mean fkd or out whack or something cheers

Howdy just after some advice, I have a ba mk11 turbo with all the basic mods, but just in the last few days the idle has been playing up, when ever u pull the car up the idle will run up to around 1400 1500 then drop down to normal idle, its doing it all the time ( engine is hot or cold ) if u pull up under 1000revs it will climb to the 1400-1500 then drop down to normal after that its fine u can sit there reving it and it idles and runs fine but soon as you drive again it will do it, I cant hear no air leaks or anything whats the best place to start checking and cleaning etc cheers ??

Ok thanks guys this chick I got the car off has a controller for it in storage as she is moving so car currently has mild tune just after bit more but will wait till I get that or book it in etc ?

sorry im not expecting the computer to just retune it self just meant if u do will the computer go in to limp mode etc by no longer controlling the wastegate etc

so no you cant add a electronic boost controller so u can only ever run one boost setting unless u have a hand controller with a tune for that boost setting you wanna run ?

just a quick question as I have to make a post anyway to become reactivated into the site lol will installing a electronic boost controller ( disconnecting standard control valve ) effect the computer in anyway my car is currently tuned to 12psi I wanna run 15psi the chick I got from is in no hurry to send me the controller with the 15psi tune it has all the supporting mods for 15 psi just wondering if it needs to be done through the factory computer or u can manually do it with out up setting anything ☺
