My current ride is an non SSS auto and, whilst the car is quick, the auto box magnifies the lagginess of the setup. IE. 100Km/h on the motorway next to the HSV. Nail the accelerator: - Wait for the box to drop down a cog - Wait for the boost to spool up - Hang on and keep it on the black stuff (front wheel drive :( ) - Which all equates to an extra few seconds B4 U see the "what the..." look on the guys face as T4 goes sailing by... The plan for the XR6T, is to upgrade power after running the car in for 5000k's or so. The final dilemma B4 signing on the dotted line is the gearbox. I'd love a manual, however, I'm concerned that the T5 will hand grenade itself on me after the mods. Can any of the members with power upgrades provide me with any feedback on their cars, re the manual gearbox? Regards
