  2. Mine was similar to Adam's except the centre muffler was replaced with mandrel bent pipes and hot dogs. Highest power level I had with this setup was 355RWKW.

  4. Great run. It seemed that the Audi had the legs but was surprisingly skittish in some sections.
  5. Based on the info I received, the widest you can go is 255 on the factory FPV wheels. That is what I have on the rear of mine and find it's not enough.....
  6. Without the cooler upgrade you will notice a power drop, particularly in summer. The warmer the climate you live in the more noticeable the change. I'd recommend a cooler change.

  9. I had the Wog cooler on my T and transferred it to the Typhoon when I upgraded. Great unit for the price. The highest power level I ran through the original plumbing and Wog Cooler was 355RWKW. It was still able to sufficiently cool the intake charge, even in Qld.
  10. I know of the 2 Atomic engines that have been done at FIST. One was Atomic bottom end only, and the other the full monty engine.
  11. I know the website hasn't been updated but that doessn't appear to be their main priority over working on customers cars. As for the dyno days, there will be one coming soon and it will be a beauty. In fact, there would have been one sooner for the Ford commodity if another tuning house had not pulled the rug from under their feet. Looking forward to the next one though, wherever it is. I guess the performance their customers' cars will put out will show whether it's worth going there or not.
  12. Well done Bryce! Having witnessed the early days of your modding journey it is good to see where it has taken you. 11.7 is an impressive time and, to put it into perspective, most GMH owners would have had to spend 4 to 5 times as much to get the performance you have now.
  13. Mine started to slip at about 350RWKW. All looked OK when it was replaced, but just could not hold peak torque.

  18. Based on the results of the 300zx dyno day I saw recently, there aren't too many that would give you too many issues. You just have to know which ones are quick.
  19. I hope they come out. Another great "aussie" performance car on the road. Besides, we might finally get people who want to play with us again. At least for a little while....

    XR6T on LPG

    The new gas setups in Europe (I believe at least some of these are now available in OZ) are getting better performance out of gas power than fuel. The RON rating has always been there but now the conversion from liquid to vapour and the delivery via individual injectors has allowed this to be exploited. I know there's at least 1 guy in Brisbane installing the new technology gas conversions.

  23. I tend to agree. I have a colleague at work with a NA MKII XR6. 30,000k's on the clock and the engine just lunched itself. This guy is also a very conservative driver so abuse would not be an issue. Just goes to show that sometimes it just comes down to basic component failure regardless of mods or tune.
