  1. in profile I reckon it does, that's my opinion and im entitled to it, best you relax and start respecting peoples right to an opinion and stop personalising things,
  2. FG F6 is probably good value for money, it definitely is in terms of performance, but the look of it in profile makes me wanna puke. front-on is not so bad, not sure bout the ass-end, but from the side the thing looks so massively like the last generation toyota camry it's not funny, and that is not good
  3. I think the way a few members treated that bloke asking about the 750rwkw application is a pretty damning indictment on those users of this forum. I mean sure he may have been a little naive in regards to some of the finer points, and yes there's a fair chance he's dreaming in regards to what he wants to do with his car, but sh*t people come on this site to learn don't they? At least Brian offered some constructive advice. Many people just flat out hung sh*t on him. It may come as a surprise to you guys to learn that not everyone knows everything there is to know about xr6ts like you blokes obviously do, I guess they should be shot huh? And no I am not friends with him or anything, I just think it's a terrible shame that that someone came on here looking for advice and got absolutely sh*tcanned
  4. From the performance perspective I would recommend trying mobil's synergy 8000, every car I've owned has felt a bit perkier with a tank full of that gear, never noticed much benefit from optimax and bp ultimate appears to be somewhere in between to me
  5. How would you gain experience with powerful cars if you never bought one??
  6. What to look out for???.........well the crappy gearbox is a good place to start. But if you have to have a manual (and I did) then you should probably ignore that. Haven't tried that transmax Z though and people seem to swear by that
  7. Did you try a manual? perhaps you might find a stickshift more to your taste. Sorry not the answer you were after but I think it's well worth considering. I went with a t56 and while it isn't the greatest gearbox I've ever sampled (and not by a small margin) it is still a lot of fun and as long as your not averse to really manhandling your car you can do all the hard launches you like, that is till something breaks
  8. 497!!!!!! , love to say it was down to great technique but it seems luck is the name of this game
  9. Spend your money on edit and custom tune first up, you wont be sorry!
  10. I went with the 6 speed manual and I know that the heaviness or lightness of a clutch depends on who's working it, and what other clutches they have used were like, but personally I was surprised by the lightness and user-friendliness of the stock clutch in my t. I wouldn't worry about it when making the decision, I guess it's more what sort of driving experience your after. I find that driving a manual is much more involving and really gives you a feeling of being one with the car, or being in total control, but that's me. I guess either way you'll be happy, as we all know these cars put smiles on dials no matter what the transmission.

  12. So what do they say is wrong with the car mate? unfortunately my car might be suffering from the same plight that you've described, as the symtpoms seem very familiar. Would love to know what I might be up against. Thanx
