It can be due to the tune as they are probably developed in VIC where the humidity isnt so high. So this can be related, but also the valve springs arent built to hold up with much more power than stock
Unfortunetly these arent as simple as the older style cars. Everything is controlled via the PCM. To be honest it will work out cheaper to get it tuned properly the first time, than playing around with stuff and then having to fix it.
It all depends on what you want. No Offence to any of the people on here. But every man and his dog as a BA/BF Xr6T these days. Be different and fit the xr6t engine in. that's what I did and have been loving it ever since!
