  1. Ok changed the Fuel Pump on stock XR6T and the hesitation etc that was mentioned above has gone. But...only did that 2 Days ago and the car has only done about 200km so I will wait and see.
  2. Ive had the same problem on a BA Auto. 3 coils have been changed, TPS and car still has the problem except haven't had check engine light come on since the coils Codes logged are too lean too rich. local garage has just got a live data plug and is going to run it and see what is happening. Someone suggested it might be the fuel pump but don't want to spend $500 and it not fix the problem
  3. I've got this Problem on a 2002 BA XR6T. I have had it to ford quite a few times and they can't pinpoint it, although we have changed 3 coil Packs, TPS. They checked fuel pressure, turbo the coils again, reflashed it etc Occassionally car stalls completely and check engine light comes on. It happens when cruising or with min throttle. This is particularly the case after coasting and then apply min throttle. Codes logged are running too rich & too lean. Is there a code logged for oxy sensor gone? Any ideas much appreciated
  4. Thanks Simmo, It turned out to be one of the remotes. The buttons were a bid dodgy and you had to press them quite hard to make them work. Took to Ford and they disconnected the remotes from the car and I used the key for a week all OK. So replaced the remotes and all has been good!
  5. Hi all BA XR6 Turbo: Anyone got any info on why & how to fix horn & indicators operating of their own free will when car is turned off. Did it a few months ago sitting in the driveway: went away. Started up again last thursday, parked in a car park all locked up, remote no where near it. Returned to car to find indicators flashing BEEp, BEEP etc. Again, Saturday night Car locked stopped itself after about 20 secs. Last night 3 times till I pulled the fuse. 1st time stopped itself, started again in 1 min opened door stopped, then did it again had to put key in ignition to stop it. Please help!!!
  6. I have this problem in a BA XR6T Auto. I have had the Throttle light come on once. Restarted all good. My problem with the hesitation is intermittent and is more often there when on small throttle % at about 60km and when weather is cooler. When it develops the flaring if I step on it it dissappears. Did have DTC codes P1131 & P1132 (HO2S11 switches) cleared these and drove car but problem still there and the DTCs are all clear now. Has anyone been able to put a finger on the problem?? It is really frustating when it does it. Thanks for your help
