Hi Mod's & Admin I'm trying to get in contact with someone in regards to coming on board as a site sponsor? I have PM'ed admin with no reply? Can anyone shed some light? Cheers Greg
well I finally got the rims on and I kinda like the chrome nuts and the alloy center cap. I know they tyres are filthy and in need of some tyre shine but I had just got them on when the pics were taken.
Thanks pat, I'll have another sticky beak at the club meeting on tuesday if any F6 drivers turn up. I wouldn't want to be an F6 owner and go through tyres.
How much? I'm still not sure how they are coated. I went to pick up the rims today and they tire joint had scratched the fresh paint trying to "clean" them! FFS now I have to wait another week but damm they looked good!
I don't think you would get a cop to follow you and check your speed these days, would be nice but not going to happen. Reminds me of a friends dad who go pulled over after getting booked by a cop standing in the bushes with a hand held laser. Cop asks him why he was speeding and said its friggen stupid to drive at that speed especially with people standing on the side of the road. He replies its F%@# stupid to be standing on the side of the road...
that's what im thinking or maybe just cover the outside half of the nut and hope they dont crack, either way they will be a bit@h to take off. The genuine F6 nuts look like they are just painted and I can't figure out how they stay black?
I'm putting black wheels on my ute next week (sprayed BA GT-P rims) and I want to use a black wheel nut. Ive had no luck finding any. The F6 nuts are what I want but they are $22 from Ford! Has anyone had any experience painting/coating their wheel nuts? Has anyone had any issues with the OEM nuts cracking/flaking off their paint? Cheers
I'd imagine they just winched it down and unhooked the spare, its not hard to do if you have the ford tool. I can't think of anyway of securing the wheel, its a crap design - my spare is in my tray ATM because the cable has twisted inside the winch.
