Not too many I hope, my car is a nov05 BF1 so it is a early BF but don't think the auto Ts (or any T's) would have this done due to the zf auto and diff ratio and brakes and dual VCT ect. Maybe xr6 but not T's
Yes, I know mid 06 T,s got the typhoon bottom end but 03XR6T said BF mk1 bottom end is slightly better than BA, just wanted to know what is different (BA to BF mk1)
No burnout, car only has about 265 rwkw so didn't turn the et streets, was running 20psi in them. What did you do to get a 1.9 and what power do you have
Would like to hear from people that have done 2.1 60ft times or less (seems to be everyone) with the zf auto. Went to the plex last night and could only get 2.26 best, most were 2.3s. Car is stock apart from 2cai and flash tune. best time is 12.88 112.64 in perf mode shifting at 5250. was stalling in 1st gear to 2000rpm builds about 4psi. Car is a daily driver so didn't want to lean on it to hard but maybe that's the problem anyway comments please and don't forget the details. Want to get this sorted out. Thanks
Yes the inside of the cat had twisted. Is it possable for a metal core to still melt down? I know std cats can and do melt but thought metal cores were much better.
Car was runing around 11.8 to 12 afr. I think it was just a dud. Just wanted to point out to everyone that even high performance parts are not perfect and alot of parts are comming from china now for these cars ( intercoolers, cats, exhausts ect).
Car hade a custom tune but power was below average for mods, must have started to let go on the dyno. Lasted about two week then huge power loss.Cat was checked and guts had turned 90' I think a replacement is in order from xforce.
No, I would not (and did not) put a replacement stock unit in. I just wanted to point out that the highflow stainless cats can go to and the one I refered to was two weeks old.
