Hey spammers ;P Just got a call from the panel shop - they can't start the car, same as right after the prang. Key in, turn, nothing. Lights work, park or neutral same deal. Someone here suggested airbox may have been crushed which I mentioned to them. Does anyone have any other ideas on what it would be? For those who aren't familiar the front left was damaged, see pics back a bit. This better not delay the repairs for long, it's been over 2 weeks already. That'll learn me.

I'm holding both of you responsible if there's a tidal wave and the boat doesn't make it. Guilt by association! My god the boat/EA sucks to drive. Electric fault draining the battery too so I get to unhook the positive every time I park >_> looks great arriving at jobs I'm sure. Got 2 weeks hols just starting. Gonna be a slow first week!!!

I might have to cop massive premiums for a couple months then while I wait to pass 25. RAC told me it was 26 for them when things become cheapest anyway. Talk to you soon antigravity!

Hahaha... any win's a good win? OK that does it as soon as I see what the new financial state is on the insurance post bingle I'm putting GCT pads on. I hold you responsible Dean Lemme know if they screech like a banshee eventually though... Cheers!

I heard on Sunday from one of the boys that the Bendix General CTs I had my eye on for low dust/noise weren't all that great? Are those Ultimates better? Can I ever avoid the damn dust? hahaha...

From what I've heard on the forums here you are good at getting lost, but how'd you lose the pics I posted here too? Hot ute btw, those rims are great. Must be good having a rare set! Ah I wish I had money for mods (gonna be interesting after new insurance bill arrives), and was brave enough to do it in warranty. Somehow I don't think it'll be happening now!

That's right mate. Only thing now is it's on "hold" since I took out the policy < 21 days ago. Checking for insurance fraud I expect? Hope the delay isn't too long, I miss her.

Incidentally, the total was over 7k in repairs. Lots of new bits, 3200 worth I'm told. 1200 for the paint. Labour padding out the rest. Choke.

Gee that's not a bad idea...I wonder if that'd fly with them? I dunno how I feel about sticking non T parts on actually, seems to divide the crowd too. And nah I need it back pristine so no repairing the bonnet! Maybe we can do a bulk order

lol Over excited and over tightened - well that's good news anyway since the turbo oil filter change was something I had my eye on, was bummed to see the leak on yours Deano my man! Holy buggery Mat that sounds even better than what I did! No friggin idea what the cost (to insurer) will be. Never had an accident before :( I estimated 5 grand but who knows...sigh. Hope someone gets vids from the AHG day!

Hrm, better be careful driving my old car then! *dodgy wiring ignites engine bay* I coulda driven the car if I bent the wheel well but that's best left to the experts on a shiny new one (plus it wouldn't start up). Towed off and I sat in the drizzle for a bit till my ride got there. I'm so kissing the car and promising not to let it happen again by my hand. Famous last words eh... Good to hear I skipped the irish action hahaha Ahh the peat ladday...!

Oh man there's a club AHG day on tuesday? Car won't be back until like the end of next week and I have two free track days up my sleeve :( I'm getting the flu too, I'm sure of it. Car must be punishing me

Yeah Mat insured my baby. From what I saw it wasn't deep enough to cause any proper damage. Informed the insurers of the situation already, police wouldn't do it over the phone so I'm up early tomorrow... I'm not in the habit of lying to the insurer, I'm copping this one fair on the chin. Just goes to show one little slip up and things can go pear shaped. My apologies to all for dampening spirits by the way. It was a lovely day even if it was overcast!

Some fool who just HAD to wait until he had a new car aaaaaaand was on his first get together to have a prang. Couldn't have done it in the two previous bombs he owned, oh no..... I think I've had enough excitement for one weekend, my head hurts. Good luck at powercruise by the way, those who are attending!

I've never been that close either...at least not since I was like 6. Was in a car that rolled at least 4 times from what I've been told. Today was merely "interesting" compared to that. It'll buff out.
