I'd be keen for more sensible cruising too, not because of last time, but because I came into owning this car with 9 demerits accrued already and absolutely cannot lose my license - needed for work. So thumbs up on "grandpa spec" driving. I'm a teeny bit nervous about it being a massive cruise with commos coz you just KNOW they are the real hoons and we'll all get done

Mate I'm no expert but from reading many insurance threads I have a fair idea that - if you have a prang in the car as a 10% driver thingo they will probably dig around and try to prove you drove far more than that and deny the claim? - Definitely list and tell them about ANY mods. Even tinted windows...well at least don't get it illegally dark - more denial of claim grounds. But certainly power mods or lowering etc I'd think would need to be approved. They employ people to deny claims and read a post from someone who used to do just that. Having had a prang myself recently I can tell you even a not so bad one (coulda driven car if fuses hadn't blown) can cost over ten grand no worries. Mine was about 16 grand to cover both cars being repaired. Not the sort of coin I have laying around...dunno about you! Good luck getting a sweet deal man, insurance is worth getting right!

Nuh uh! I was in my BFII Turbo but couldn't be running a red light (!) and also woulda lost my buddy in HIS civic type R WAS a damn shame though! Didn't have the digicam anyway just lame phone so wouldn't have gotten a pic that did it justice anyway. Whoever it was good on ya

Also spotted the same great phantom XR8 (at least you had a bulge) with hood decals in hot purple/pink (or was it orange? I suck) twice this weekend. Once as I was turning out from the Kardy on Saturday and again today I'm pretty sure on West Coast Hwy heading the other way. Also saw a mint looking 70's Cobra turning left from Carrington St onto Leach Hwy. My Civic mate and I were waiting at the lights and you got away damn you. Nice ride! Best I saw all day aside from my own Turbo Possibly heading out to spend the last of the 91RON fuel in the mates new car tonight so hope to see some more!

Spotted a yellow NA XR6 heading east on Lecah tonight at about 1am ish. Crusied behind him for a bit and whatnot. We found a second T - black, and I saw the passenger had a red light on his area inside the car. Possibly a patrol? Had satnav or something on the dash. Our yellow friend gave it a bit once Mr Black turned off...I enjoyed my random cruise tonight!

I find they are best when they attach to the outside of your car and don't blow off while you drive! Same with the spiders.

Coz the lads that just gave me mine back today (HELL YEAH) are a bunch of amateurs: Horn fuse missing Wiper fluid dead empty Dirty as hell inside and out Driving lights BADLY misaligned (beams and I think the globe inside the new one!) Foggies don't work - at all. Still took my $600 excess cash. No EFTPOS facility. The creme de la creme: reversed my car into something for me and scratched and dented the rear. Nice work fellas. In short excellent to have her back, lame I have to take it back to have it repaired AGAIN next week. Do NOT get your car repaired in Bibra Lake.... PS I spent like a grand on neon kits for my car, are you telling me it's gay? Just kidding. I spent 4 grand.
