I recall from an article about the designing of the turbo, they knew they'd need heat shielding as heat was going to be a big factor under the bonnet. Why you need to get rid of it? Or is it being a *beep* to get back on? hehe

whoah nice rims and fat sizes hahaha! that audi I spotted hooning in traffic yesterday (see wa spotted thread) had vertini's on I think, dunno the model. been seeing that brand a lot the last 2 days...conspiracy clearly... chat to ya tomorrow arronm, cheers. edit: HA same ones!!! look different side on there, optical illusion! edit again...the first pic are Mclaren, second are "fashion" which is what I saw. my bad. looked good on the audi. you be tuckin rubber like mr audi man? hehehe!

olololol I think so too from what I hear. Always liked the 19" BFII phoon rims. porn. can't wait for tomorrow! I could sell my rims to my old man who just flogged a VT with 195kW HSV donk for $6k to some young rev head...he's fixed up an AU...my rims might fit? hahaha....

yeah the plates suited the tilt tray. would suck to see that come to collect your pride and joy (and I know that feeling), only to have your face rubbed in it with U IDI8T plates hahah...

Been looking at these articles over the last few days, I agree kice it's something that would appeal to me. Forced factory V8. Love the V8 sound but I'm a turbo man for the time being due to the rush and low cost potential. Hope they do S/C the new engine!!!

wish they were the 19" BF II F6 rims (the 'triangle' outline with the slit near the centre). I could almost justify paying for a set of them...I'm about to buy new tyres in 17" which seems daft to me since I want larger wheels :/ Good luck with that sale though.

Hi there, probably not worth a new thread, but I'm on the verge of ordering a set of 4x KU31's in 245/40/17 for my stock BFII 17x8's. Is there any issue with this width legally or otherwise? Just to recap stock is 235/45/17 on this rim. Thanks everyone edit: these are a few bucks cheaper than 235/45/17's, and will the width help traction wise? I'm still stock power but who knows what the next 40,000KM's will bring... -
Spotted this A4 1.8T weaving madly through traffic escaping me. He had some zip. I was curious & maybe interested in a go but he was acting a bit troppo in traffic so thought better. Rims are nice on the car, tucking a bit of tyre too.

giggity giggity!!! Well finally modded my car in a small way...bought a K&N from xr6t ego (cheers!) and he pointed out my existing one is not stock...any idea what this is? K&N made in USA and misc white plastic made in Taiwan..hahaha...those cops who owned it before must have changed it out? Can't wait to stick in the phoon lower intake. Car should be a bit more responsive then! Think I noticed a small change on the drive home but hard to say, could have been placebo effect

It's the same with cars too, sucks. When I visited the states and saw new hummers for <30k (not that I'd buy one) I was spewin. A new Mustang GT would be cheap as hahaha...damn import charges.
