The first thing I see is 4 exhaust pipes out one side of the car/fish, which doesn't make much sense on a straight six. Reinforces the rip off status. I can understand the the idea of the sticker (love the Super Roo decal), but wouldn't apply one. Would need to be a cool new design entirely.

When I rode a bike I always preferred to stick to footpaths, one slip up on the road by you or them and you're under a wheel. No thanks. Much prefer the rare chance of hitting a car moving out from behind a blind driveway wall and take a spill over the bonnet! Dent in their panel I have to pay for is better than a serious injury.

I had a shard move out through my gum too, was wondering WTF was going on at first, like I'd eaten a piece of metal or the sharpest sand ever! Wasn't painful on the way through, or maybe I confused it with general soreness from the extraction.

Since I finally got ADSL connected at the new house two days ago I decided I better run a cable properly instead of leaving it like this to get shut in the garage door and chewed up Made use of the extra garage wall plate that the builder had to fit for when NBN eventually arrives in 50 years. Also got the shortest length of phone cable I could to the modem to maximise sync speed Had opted for conduit on the solid internal walls with blank plates which made life easy! No shortage of cable either (pings haven't changed at all thankfully). Looped it around a roof beam to keep it overhead on the way over to the conduit pipe. The PC is against the outer wall though and those don't have blanks - I'd rather let a pro drill and fit a network plate as needed. Instead, I ran a cable straight from PC to modem though a blank plate (hole saw mod) on the next wall. It will do nicely though until we get a sparkie in one day to fit the fancy lights etc At least this way I am not surfing over wifi and the cable isn't a trip hazard and being crushed by the door!

Just tried a 6 month old Netgear that a friend gave me (he upgraded to NBN) and it synced at the same speed as the ancient 7402R2 but had a lower SnR - Billion got 11.5 and the Netgear wifi router modem got 9 and under, with about 0.3Mbps less real world download speed because of it. Will make a handy spare though

After almost a decade, finally able to see this in my own home: Speeds are liveable, I'm on least 4.5km of phone cable in the hills here and getting 6.8Mbps down (or about 0.75 Megabytes per second) which is close to the max download speed of ADSL1 (no ADSL2 ports free, I waited 4 months). Video uploads like car cruises I'll be jumping on my phone 4G hotspot though, only got 0.33Mbps upload over ADSL. Phone can smash out 20Mbps upload even with only 2 bars of 4G signal. The real advantage of ADSL is not speed but quota - 100GB plan to start whereas my phone plan is only 6GB a month! Wireless NBN will be the next step but the ISP weren't able to get any sort of ETA for my area.

I'll actually be running in the Racewars Sprint which I think is more or less an industrial area with kerbs... I'll just git gud

That's why I like to look at trap speed for various turbo taxis down the 1000m So with ~320rwkw I got 230 and Torque app logs show it wasn't sitting pegged at that on the limiter, I doubt I'd have gone any faster even with the limiter removed, I was still gaining speed after the 1000m ended (never brake until you are a second past the final marker just to make sure!). Mike has about 370 or 380rwkw IIRC and he trapped at 238.93 - only 8 higher than me with at least 40 more wasps! Or over 13% more power (and same tuner) to get like 3.5% more trap speed. Someone should graph the forum results we know about, I'm interested but I'm too lazy.
