Hello team, recently a mate of mine had a bottle dropped from the walk over on the Monash just east of warrigal road. No big deal except he was in a 65T B double Kenworth. These losers not only target trucks but all road users, we have a campaign at present called barriers for bridges. B4B. If you see the petition please sign it, as this effects everyone. I feel for you bro. I know several corners in Melb like that. Karingal Hub left off Cranbourne rd in the wt. and at Breaside right into centre dandy rd both gone in the wt. They will fix it. I got shunted last may in my BA XT ute 2002 model 18k damage and they put it back together...... Chops

Where can I find these Monza intercoolers. The idea was for something different and not altering the stock configuration. I may alter the airbox later but I wanted a simple design with a little extra. Chops

Good information guys the only difference is that I want to run a small radiator type intercooler in place of the standard one and have the air from the shaker flow through it. I was not going to change from the airbox at the front of the car. Chops

Ok gang here is my idea. I want to use a V8 bonnet and add a shacker. Why? Well I want to change the intercooler but keep it in it's current position. So my questions are. Is there an aftermarket intercooler that will give me a gain and have it mounted in it's current position? Using the shacker to direct cool air onto it. I really do not like the idea of putting a ginormous intercooler up front. Chops

Nope they had these wonderfull tapes they stuck across the road you were timed. The point is though you need to know your rights if you think you were pinged for the wrong thing. I hate anyone who boasts about speeding on public roads, but if your in the right you stand your ground. Again I did not realise this ticket was that old. Police do have quotas to fill and I know this as fact, it is not writtend down but they are expected to intercepy X and write X tickets, the targets change but the end result is the same. Chops

Ok tthree things you can do here. 1. ask to see the equipment certificate of currency. 2. get your speedo checked. 3. buy a gps that can record your data. Ummmm always challenge the ticket take it to court. and I witnesed my uncle do this in Orbost in 1979. Request the officer to follow and measure and record your speed for 1km. Do all this very politely. Chops

What else do they not see? If they are not paying attention what other dangers could they drive into. Or themselves become the danger. Everyone has a little stuff up from time to time, just that sometimes it is in a major way. Chops

I have no problem with them. I do not speed....... Never been zapped by one. Had a few blueys over the years.. The cameras catch lazy inatentive drivers. We all know where they are so whats the problem? Chops

Ok good post. 1. the example I gave is relevant. It shows that even when you are doing the right thing sh*t can happen. 2. If you are not capable of driving at the posted speed limit do not drive, weather conditions permitting. 3. No brainwashing here. Try pulling bits of people from cars and washing the blood off the road. (Ex Firie) 4. It is not just you speeding but the other dick doing 140+ and you both meet unexpectantly. 4. ever hit a roo at that speed at 3 am? It is not a good look. 5. Camera and traffic offences are just that not criminal at all no matter what state you are in. Guys take the hype out of it. It is not your right to drive like idiots. you did not get a licence for that. I respect everyones point of view but I do not respect those that put innocents lives in danger. Chops
