1.42 60 foot. Dave only had 2 runs for the night - the 1st was bloody scary to say the least. Dave brushed it off like nothing (as expected lol) and went out next run for a PB. I believe Dave's time has now split the GTECH cars up, and put Dave into #2 overall fastest XR6T. Look out #1. 9.32 may be coming  Congrats again Dave., Cheers mate Leppy

Well, yet another update people! Dave Sheehy moves into the 2nd overall spot with another PB tonight at our local test n tune at Palmyra Dragway! Very scary drive 1st pass out, with a leaking coolant issue, causing the car to have some issues at 140 plus mph! On his second (and final run of the night) runs a 9.433 @ 146.4mph!!! Congrats Dave. Hopefully we can seee some better times over the next few months! Cheers Leppy

Well - bit of an update - the new atomic bottom end is in, and the car went 9.45 @ 145mph last night. The 60ft time is done on the last best run, as Dave was having a few launching issues, however its a great start for the new motor. We'll see over the next few months how far he can really push it! Congrats Dave. Cheers Leppy -
Update for Dave Sheehy! He went 9.45 @ 145mph last night at the Palmyra Pro Street Meeting. The car is in fantastic condition, and surprisingly still has better times in it which I'm sure we'll see next outing. Congrats Dave. Cheers Leppy

Well all. It had to happen eventually.... Dave's BA motor failed yesterday in a spectacular fashion at a test n tune here in Mackay. He blew the motor at half track, and still managed a 11.0! It has punched 2 or 3 holes in the block, and there were bits of conrods, pistons and block all the way down the track! Unbelievably, the car still runs with 3 rods gone.... Dave is dissappointed he didn't get the chance to run another 9 second pass with the old BA clunker motor, but one positive was the car was the quickest its ever been to the 1/8th mile, so it was looking very good until the failure. Might be finally the time that we see what Dave can do with a proper built engine! Cheers Leppy -

Dave was running around the 420 rwkw mark according to the dyno. But in saying that, I think the dyno is about 20kw shy of what it should be (so that would make it around 440rwkw's.) Cheers Leppy -

Dave works full time, and runs his tuning business on days off! He is extremely busy, and I have no doubt he is THE best Ford tuner in Australia! I have both my cars tuned by Dave and they are friggen awesome! So Dave doesn't "officially" have a business address - its home If you want to contact him for a tune etc, let me know - I can pass on his details (but I'm sure most people on here know how to get in touch with him!) Cheers Leppy -

Yep - 19.5 psi all the way. Dave has a set of billet shafts in the rear - can't remember the brand of the top of my head. I'll find out and get back to you. Dave is off to work for 5 days... Cheers Leppy -

Congrats again Dave. What else can we say? You da man!!!! Check out the videos on youtube. I have uploaded the 3 runs seperately, so just check out my other vids on there. Cheers again mate Leppy -
Well - I guess the news tonight about sums it all up for me. Arrested for drug trafficking....now's there's a surprise.

Yeah seen the Talon kits. I had the same intercooler as this guy on my 1st TTG.... I was chasing a bodykit like this.....
-
I have to agree with you on that one. Shame on FPV for not giving them a GT bodykit.... Just gotta wait for aftermarket GT bars now hehe
-
Yea I love my F6X too. I can honestly tell you, nothing beats me off the lights.....nothing And before all you XR6T boys get upset, I also have a BF Typhoon with mods and it dont go close to beating the F6X off the lights. In saying that, the F6X has mods and should run in the low 12's to high 11's. My BF has run high 11's..... But after its all said and done, I only paid $66k for the F6X drive away. We were going to buy another TTG but when they are the same price why wouldn't we buy the FPV? The mrs needed a new car and it suits the 3 kids well. Each to their own I suppose. Cheers Leppy

Dave, that's so typical of you! You're way too modest!!! Congrats Kent - hope the next drag racing event aint too expensive for you..... Cheers Leppy
-
I must admit I was a little worried at 1st when I had my head on the intake manifold listening for detonation, but she pulled through nicely! I know I said to stop when we hit 575rwhp, but when you ran 596rwhp, I wanted you to run again for that 600rwhp mark! Maybe it was for the best that we did stop! By the way - your entered into Saturday's dyno comp too Dave. I think its $70 or something to enter - pay on the day. I'm sure you'll win
-
Hi Kent, is Dave retuning it and are you coming to Mackay for the retune? Have to watch out for Dave's dirty old BA XR6T!!! He ran 444rwkw's tonight with that weak as crap factory engine! What a sight and sound Maybe see you on Friday.... Cheers Leppy
-
310rwkw's in a TTG? Please explain! I have't had mine on the dyno, and its only a conservative guess. Apparantly TOOGO was running approx 315awkw's to run his 11.4's....
-
Hi Orrie, check out Ford Forums Link - My TTG
-
Mine is gong on the dyno in the next 2 weeks. We are hoping for around the 270 to 280awkw mark.... Will keep you posted. Cheers Leppy

My TTG was 68km's old when it got its 1st tune. Now, 6 weeks old, it has 4000km's, and a crapload more grunt. See my signature for a list of mods. NOTHING beats me or my missus at the lights! Not being cocky either... hehehe
