  2. 1.42 60 foot. Dave only had 2 runs for the night - the 1st was bloody scary to say the least. Dave brushed it off like nothing (as expected lol) and went out next run for a PB. I believe Dave's time has now split the GTECH cars up, and put Dave into #2 overall fastest XR6T. Look out #1. 9.32 may be coming  Congrats again Dave., Cheers mate Leppy
  3. Well, yet another update people! Dave Sheehy moves into the 2nd overall spot with another PB tonight at our local test n tune at Palmyra Dragway! Very scary drive 1st pass out, with a leaking coolant issue, causing the car to have some issues at 140 plus mph! On his second (and final run of the night) runs a 9.433 @ 146.4mph!!! Congrats Dave. Hopefully we can seee some better times over the next few months! Cheers Leppy
  4. Well - bit of an update - the new atomic bottom end is in, and the car went 9.45 @ 145mph last night. The 60ft time is done on the last best run, as Dave was having a few launching issues, however its a great start for the new motor. We'll see over the next few months how far he can really push it! Congrats Dave. Cheers Leppy
  5. Update for Dave Sheehy! He went 9.45 @ 145mph last night at the Palmyra Pro Street Meeting. The car is in fantastic condition, and surprisingly still has better times in it which I'm sure we'll see next outing. Congrats Dave. Cheers Leppy
  6. Well all. It had to happen eventually.... Dave's BA motor failed yesterday in a spectacular fashion at a test n tune here in Mackay. He blew the motor at half track, and still managed a 11.0! It has punched 2 or 3 holes in the block, and there were bits of conrods, pistons and block all the way down the track! Unbelievably, the car still runs with 3 rods gone.... Dave is dissappointed he didn't get the chance to run another 9 second pass with the old BA clunker motor, but one positive was the car was the quickest its ever been to the 1/8th mile, so it was looking very good until the failure. Might be finally the time that we see what Dave can do with a proper built engine! Cheers Leppy
  7. Dave was running around the 420 rwkw mark according to the dyno. But in saying that, I think the dyno is about 20kw shy of what it should be (so that would make it around 440rwkw's.) Cheers Leppy
  8. Forever a gentleman and so so modest. Sorry Dave - I believe (in my opinion) you're a hell of alot better than you say! I'm in your debt.... Cheers mate Leppy
  9. And I agree with everything you guys have said. But the thing is - its my opinion. As you are entitled to your opinion, I am to mine. And having your own opinion isn't being an arsehole!!! Cheers guys Leppy
  10. Dave works full time, and runs his tuning business on days off! He is extremely busy, and I have no doubt he is THE best Ford tuner in Australia! I have both my cars tuned by Dave and they are friggen awesome! So Dave doesn't "officially" have a business address - its home If you want to contact him for a tune etc, let me know - I can pass on his details (but I'm sure most people on here know how to get in touch with him!) Cheers Leppy
  11. Yep - 19.5 psi all the way. Dave has a set of billet shafts in the rear - can't remember the brand of the top of my head. I'll find out and get back to you. Dave is off to work for 5 days... Cheers Leppy
  12. Congrats again Dave. What else can we say? You da man!!!! Check out the videos on youtube. I have uploaded the 3 runs seperately, so just check out my other vids on there. Cheers again mate Leppy
