I remember when I did my diesel mechanic apprenticeship that you should never use compressed air Let alone touch an air filter unless the restriction gauge was reading blocked, more dirt is introduced to the intake system removing and refitting the filter, so it should only be done when actually necessary

  11. All the link implies is that stock engines with stock intake systems don't gain any power with aftermarket filters... It does not say if you use a k&n your engine will die. Plenty of old cars on gas that have blown there air filters to bits, and suck in stupid amounts of crap and dust They still run, obviously engine will be effected but they will keep running

    Are your brakes alright? Are you sure one of the pads is not metal on metal? How many k's does your car have? Dry sliders on the caliper a can sound like creaking Could be a whole list of things, you gotta be a bit more specific with your question, and what you have already checked
