    Started the week, boily and me roughing in and tacking stainless pipe, pulling it all apart and welding up, electro polish and pressure testing Spilt the work between the two of us Finally finished this morning! Made me feel good as this is a prototype build my work is doing and we are smashing it [emoji106] Get to bolt all these bits on for good Monday morning

    He went the limp option of the C50T I took it for a ride this arvo, goes pretty well, perfect for what he wants and he said if he gets bored will just upgrade Great bike for the price

    Do you know where the cooler failed? I know you said you had an electrolysis problem, did it eat a hole through the core or maybe a thin weld ? Definitely not a good thing, can cause pitting throughout the donk :-(

    Yeah my mate just bought a gsx1400, very nice bike to ride and butt loads of grunt The old man ended up buying a boulevard with only 4000 on the clock Looks the part and comfy to ride [emoji106] He laughed at me when I mentioned the cbr1100xx

    around 10k - 15k for used,not huge budget but like I said he has 3 Hondas and yz250 to keep the adrenaline going More needs comfort for my mum on the back What model BMW should he look at ?

    After some advice My old man is looking for a touring style bike, not wanting to spend 25k on a Harley though His eyes are on the Suzuki boulevards Does anyone have any first hand info on these bikes or any other recommendations for a bike along those lines He is 55, rider all his life, has three cb750 in the garage Wants to some long rides with my mum on the back and after a bit of comfort Appreciate any ideas or feedback

    250-350 is the sweet zone for a street car I reckon My car has 305rwkw, nice linear tune, drives like a stocker, better fuel economy , and to be honest the dyno figure really means bugga all to me I have never been to the drags, I don't go stupid racing people on the street or doing power skids any where I can I just love having the enormous amount of torque under my foot! You gotta decide what your end goal is.

    Learn to do all the fluids yourself and you will be able to change all the major fluids once a year, for the price of one ford service I do my engine oil every 5k Diff oil every 10k Brake fluid once a year Power steering I flushed it once when my car hit 100k ZF tranny I did one service when I bought the the car at 100k and now I'm about to do another with gulf western at 130k Coolant every few years, no real need to go nuts Injector cleans that you put in the tank are a waste of time in my eyes, so don't bother Fuel filter once a year, as they are cheap insurance Throttle body clean every engine oil change Same as waste gate solenoid with wd40 Air filter once a year

    All depends how the boost comes in, and how good your tyres are. I have no idea what times are possible But I'm sure some blokes that have been to the drags could give you a rough idea
