Reading the local paper Tuesday and read an article about this 24/7 hoon hot line for dobbin in hoon's. And I was thinking WTF why would they do that now you will get stupid old people ringing up every 2 seconds about someone who put the foot down a little or who is out in the middle of no where having a little fun with there car and not affecting anyone. The article also said that this hot line will help locate the hot spots for HOONING. The number is 1800 HOON. This paper was the leader and I live it Mt Martha Victoria.

If I haven't drunk any water before bed and I have a hangover I just whip up some toast and Vegemite with a big glass of milk and I'm good to go. But defiantly water before you go to bed is the best me thinks.

Jeez unlucky man I'm glad your ok. Does also make me feel sorry for the car its looks so awful you must feel so bummed. You will probably feel sketchy with mates in your car next time your driving its a real eye opener and your lucky you and your passengers walked away as it is. It also shows the strength of the V8 super cars hitting the walls at 250+kph compared to the everyday cars on the streets.

Yeah ill just get mum to get the Michelins probably the best to spend the money on something you no will perform rather then going on the unknown, the cars for driving all the kids around so better to be safe than sorry thanks for your help. I dont mind the bald tyres that are on at the moment front wheel burnouts on the wet is good fun

They are both silicon based by the way. The size is 215/60R15 I think that's right.

I was driving around with my mother today looking for a good deal on some quality tyres and we came across some Sumitomo's Japanese tyres but he says they are just as good as the Michelin ones we where looking at I have heard of this brand of tyre but wasnt sure of how well they work, is anyone able to tell me if they are any good or not its only for a Mazda MPV and these tyres are a fair bit cheaper Sumitomo: $123ea Michelin: $149ea

Think of what Mr bean would do.... Take the wheels with ya when you go to work... Maybe make some pictures of crap tiers and rims and hang them over the top of your good ones. If they are stupid enough to become criminals in the first place then they must be stupid enough to fall for that.

Yeah I wouldn't mind to do one. I don't really want to end up wrapped around a tree so I was thinking of doing one anyways I thought it would be fun and a good experience to learn some good skills that might one day save my life or smoke some other kid

I don't have a car so my opinion is crap but I do like the 5 spoke 19' chrome ones or the black ones with the chrome on the sides they seem to look alright on the T's also "seena T" rims with the multiple spokes look good. I suggest finding something that others appeal to as well as liking it yourself sort of balance what others think and what you think are good. Try a Google search for rims and find a few designs you like and get a wider variety to choose from.

My dads ute had a problem with the switch under the brake pedal that stopped the lights from working. We ended up putting some duck tape on the switch and fixed it for the time being. Driving in heavy traffic with a $50,000 boat on the back with no tail lights is risky business. I think it was $50 for a new switch. I have no idea about the cruise control.

Ummm I'm going in as Combat Engineer... then might move around from their maybe helicopters if I can or Officer rifle man over a few years. If that fails I can always take the get rich quick path and work over in the mines in Western Australia. But yeah officer Combat Engineer is paperwork and that's just not me. So General Combat Engineer like my grandpa would be awesome I'm not to fussed about pay more just the interesting job.

Yeah I was going to get a stock XR6 and have that for awhile then give it off to my 2 brothers before I leave for the army and dad was going to chip in to save money and ill get it back from my brothers and ill leave it stock might change the paint to blood orange that's about it. So I wont be loosing money on the car. Ill take your advice and save money and avoid spending 2 much on the car. Ill get the XR6T as soon as I can and have a few $$$ left for mods.

I'm going into the army soonish in like 2years and I was gonna blow my money before I go on my car then ill be away with the army and nothing to spend my money on apart from booze so then ill waste it on another car when I have the experience up. So after a few year of wait I might be able to cruise with you guys in a Turbo.

Hi guys First post and stuff and im only 17 so dont bite my head off... I love my Fords and I'm looking at cars... I want to get a Standard BA XR6, I would much rather a turbo but can be a bit $$$ and due to these laws I cant have any performance upgrades so I was wondering how much different the turbo is to a standard XR6, other than the Turbo and chip. Sorry if its a Noob question but yeah I'm a little inexperienced in this area.... Oh and would I be able to slowly build up a standard XR6 enough to be able to call it a turbo one day, and is it worth it?
