  1. Hey there mate, im very close to going out and getting my hands on a set of Toyo Proxy 4's, what did these tyres cost you from tyre power in Resevior... These T1R's are the semi slick yeah?
  2. Hey there Senna, Thanks for the prompt response mate. Nah not looking at retaining the stock cross-over, I may of been unclear with my prior posts. Im happy to piss off the stock cross over pipe and replace it, but wanting to keep my airbox to avoide issues with the cops. What did your PWR cooler cost you with a replacement cross-over piece? Did PWR have one for the unit or did you have to get one custom? Looking to get my hands on a reliable cooler that will hold early 300kwts without any issues after a few hard bashes but dont want to cut/grind anything. What are the PWR coolers rated at and why did you change yours, what are you currently running now? Yeah I have been talking to Chris from Rapid, top bloke regards to teeing up a cooler and might be going the v2 setup but only concerned about issues with police re, the removal of the air box. Has anyone had any issues with this?

Hi Senna, Im in the process of getting a new cooler atm to replace the stock one as im going to be doing a hole load of mods in the near future and wanted to get some more info about the PWR coolers as my mechanic has recommended one of these with a custom pipe to replace the standard crossover. Ideally im looking for low to mid 300kwts atm when im done and wanting a cooler to support this without any issues. How did you find this cooler in general for the price? I noticed you said you use to have one? Have you changed now? What are you using now? Having a hard time trying to work out which cooler to go.. Want one that is a direct replacement without any cutting grinding or alterations to the car and I have been told that the PWR coolers are the best way to go while retain the stock airbox and the rest so I dont get head aches from the cops. Was thinking of going the Process West Coolers as I here they dont require any cutting or grinding... What are your thoughts. Not wanting to pay more than $1300 for cooler and piping. Any help you cold provide or anyone else for that matter would be a big help.
  4. Hey mate, how do you find the extreme heavy duty clutch, is it heavy or a pig to drive compared to the stock clutch? What did it cost ya? And are you finding its slipping with that kind of power? Im in the market to grab a new clutch atm coz mines starting to slip @250kwts in 3rd and 4th. Also looking at grabbing a 800hp plazaman cooler, is there much difference between that cooler and the pics of the one you have posted. Anyone know what power these coolers are rated @ and what do they ususally go for? Was install a *beep*, Is there any cutting / grinding into the body to install the kit. Im after a cut with no cutting or grinding of the beast so no headaches off the cops and for road worthiness. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Is it worth paying to get a custom tune done even though apart from the flash tuner it will be completely stock maybe with the exception of a panel filter

    Sorry just another quick question, was reading on the forum that there were flash tuners available from a forum sponsor, cant remember there name nor were the orignal link was posted but rather than having the generic tunes in the flash tuner they came with 3 generic tunes from the performance company instead. What is the difference between these tunes and the generic capa tunes? Any power differences. These flash tuners sold by the forum sponsor were on sale before christmas anyone know if there still on sale? And can someone please post me the link to the relevent form please. Thanks all

    Hi guys hows it going? Joined up to the forum not long ago and I got to say very imformative. Bought an XR6T 9 months ago and loving it but its stock as a rock apart from some gauges which are doing me no just on a stock set-up. Cut a long story short im hanging to get my hands on a flash tuner, despartly want some more boost, had no idea the factory tune was so low untill I got my gauges in and saw it only spools to 4psi which I think is a poor effort by ford. Anyway wanting to know more about these flash tuners. I have read about the 3 settings and am loving the idea of the 3 generic tunes in particular the 8psi tune and the 10psi tune. Wanted to know from other peoples experience how they found the difference between the stock set up to going to the 8psi tunes and 10psi tunes. Secondly with these two different tunes what is your fuel range on these two set-ups provided everything else is standard. As is im only getting 400km a tank (60ltrs) barely. What can I expect on a 8psi tune and a 10psi tune average. Thirdly, with the 8psi and 10psi tunes are there any problems to look out for ie, pinging or value bounce without any other mods done. Would a K&N panel filter help the system power wise and air flow wise or would there not be much difference on these to generic 8psi and 10psi tunes, not to sure what the options are for cold air inductions to the XR6T but wanted to try and keep a stock look, ie no pod filters Your help in the area would be greatly appreciated.
