Pack ya Berroccas and panadol's my fellow Vikings BVW 3 is happening again The date for this years trip to Melboune will be the 12th to the 16th of September which is the same weekend as the Sandown 500,as per usual we will be staying at the Mattew Flinders Hotel in Gladstone,to conicide with the weekend I have been able to organise a trach day at Calder on the thursday as long as we have a minium of 10 cars The plan at this stage is Wednesday 12-9-07 Leaving early am Sydney or whatever state you will be coming from then traveling down to Melb and arriving by the arvo checking into the motel then we can organise any cars that are interested in getting any work done to there cars by the local tune houses while we are there then off to the Crown Casino for dinner and drinks Thursday Off to Calder park raceway for a track day, arriving around 8.30am racing is from 9-4,then back to the motel for dinner then being picked up by the Kittens coach(Thanks to Geea) then into to town for a night at Kittens Friday More than likely it will be a slow start to the day and a good opertunity to have a sleep in and I will see if maybe we can a round of Golf in during the day or a dyno day at HPF then it will be off to pick up any cars that have been left at any tuning shops the back out to Calder for a drag night Saturday Off to Sandown 500 while it wont be the actual race it should still be a good day out at the track,evening may consist of a cruise around Melb and/or Kittens for a look Sunday Depending on how friday night at Calder went or if the majority wants to we will either be heading to Heathcote or straight back home for some sleep Cost will be Accommadation is $47.50 per night Track day is $185 for the day and $30 for race suit hire Calder Drag night is $40 for entrant and $20 for spectators As from previous years we have had a great time and this should and will be no different and we have had members from Sa,Qld,Nsw and plenty of Vic boys there!
