The are primarily a 2WD car, as soon as traction loss is senced within milliseconds it transfer's power to the front, OR you can throw in a torque split controller and have it full time AWD if you like, come's in 10 setting's, 1 being full time rear, 5 being 50/50 say and as you go up from there it tranfer's more power to the front's...

Oh and 1 last thing, as a reference, everybody know's how blindingly fast the Bathurst R32 Godzilla's were, broke just about every record on every track around Aus, the penalised them and gave them boost restriction's weight penalty's and even rev restriction's and they still kept dominating... In the endthe V8's sooked so bad they got banned and became legend, they used to regularly clock over 300k's an hour down conrod and run 10sec 1/4's... This is 1 of those Legend's on the exact same dyno at the exact same shop as the above black car...
  4. Rajab Racing Development's in Campbellfeild mate... That Dreamcrusher GTR isn't on a drag track pazz it's on a normal peice of un-prepared bitumen same as the street, 0-100 in 2.5sec's and that aint a lie, it's full street trim, full exhaust & the car isn't on slick's it's on ET Street's and as driven on the street, GTR in 2nd video is also on ET Street's and on drum E85 but with dropped exhaust and is in fact for sale for $70k as is drive away... My old GTR return's 300-350 from a tank and is on pump E85 no problem's, driven 2-3 times a week weather permitting of course and has done plenty of K's on the highway, GTR's of this calibre will munch a bike no sweat, you'll either be on your back trying to get it to take off as fast as the GTR, or you will take off easy and wont make the lost ground back... If you wana see what sorta wheel power figure's they can make when leaned on take a look... They really are an exceptional car on the street...
  5. Yes on the street you cant beat 4WD, watch this video and you'll see what I mean... Take note this is an unprepared surface, unlike a drag strip, if this thing's being 4WD is turning tyre's like this with ET street's all round, imagine trying to put it down with only RWD and a more torquey motor... If he wanted to set the GTR up for Drag purposes im sure it wouldn't be to hard to get it down to these sorta figures on ET street's on a fully prepared surface...

GTR is yet to run full power but there's not really much point putting much more in it as the power is starting to make the front wheel's torque steer like a high powered FWD, his been trying to tweak suspension and get a pefect medium, it's rediculously fast now, Orange LPG Stang was offered but politely declined the offer, said he had no licence or similar but yet he turned up in the car driving, then got a freind who wasn't in the car when he arrived to drive it out of there and left the area... SSG, LS3JET, Mustang or anybody else is more than welcome to have a crack if they like's but leave the excuse book at the door and bring your best running shoes, once the GTR's sump turn's up and it's fitted you shall see it around, was f#cked around from multiple places in Aus since the lead up to Xmas, in the end he told them dont worry about it and ordered it oversea's and was told 3wk wait so it's all payed for just awaiting arrival... GTR was last out just before Xmas, and is regular driver, we drive about an hour each way to get to that side of town...

That would be because of 1 of 2 reason's Paulie.. 1 : We dont cruise princess just like most of the Really Really fast car's I've mentioned above, we have other spot's and it's more of an arranged thing and we go to quiet spot's, reason behind no prinny is all the VN & Honda brigade etc etc usually f#ck it up for everybody like alway's, swerving in and out between all the car's trying to get to the front, they then try to race car's the no they have no chance in hell of beating but they try anyhow, not giving a f#ck who they cut off... 2 : Car is awaiting new sump to arrive from oversea's, shouldn't be to far off now....

My old GTR with old baby 2.6ltr setup and low mount's ran 10.6 @ 139mph before breaking a diff after the first ever run..Full street trim on normal tyres pump 98 Haddad V8 Turbo XR Falcon 9.4 @147mph, ET street's pump 98 Street trim Competition engines V8 TT Fairlane 8.8 @155mph, full slick's pump 98 Race trim Cometition engines V8 TT Cortina. 8.8 @ 160mph slick's pump 98 Race trim GTECH Purple BA XR6T 9.2 @155mph, slick's E85 Race trim LS1PWR V8 T VN 9.5 @144mph, slick's C16 Race trim Silver R31 RB30T 9.5 @144mph, slick's C16 Race trim CGMFLY RB30T Torana 9.4 @141mph, ET Street's pump 98 Street trim 1TUF65 Mustang 4ltr T 9.2 @148 slick's, LPG Race trim XE ESP Falcom 4ltr T 9.9 @137, slick's LPG Race trim And there's still a reasonably long list still if I could be f#cked going on... Take note that time's are posted on a properly prepared smooth racetrack, which is sticky as hell compared to an un prepared street surface, take atleast .5-1 second off each car's ET if there on the street as traction is non existent pretty much... GTR has not been beatin yet on the street YET, some of the list above we are yet to race, but 4 car's out of that list were all were shown a clean pair of heel's, 2 have declined or made excuses, but sooner or later we will eventually we'll bump into the other's and we look forward to the challenge, GTR still turn's 4 tyres but even though it's wheelspinning hard it's still pulling like a 14yo, so while there blowing tyres off we are long gone, off the line, on the speed roll it does't matter, im yet to see something out there that is a real contest yet...
  9. I use Ray Hall's ET Calc, it seem's resonably accurate but in the end it comes down to how accurate the figures are you punch in... On all these Calculator's you have to know the exact weight ( Usually In Pounds ) WITH driver's weight included, so car weight + driver's weight as total... So it should in fact goes something like this roughly 1750kg car say ( 3858 lb ) + 100kg driver ( 220 lb ) = 4078 lb in total... HP you calculate your RWKW x 1.34 = RWHP Figure, Then add about 20-21% roughly which should give you a FWHP total... ie... 300rwkw x 1.34 = 402rwhp + say 21% = 486-487 Flywheel HP... So under weight you punch in your total weight as 4078 and say 487hp, it sez and I quote, this would be on a traction perfect pass in absolute perfect condition's be capable of 11.82 @ 115.23mph ROUGHLY... So if I punch in tonyv's figures as he know's his weight and RWKW it come's up with a traction perfect best of 11.22 @ 121.47 MPH, pretty close to his MPH, his MPH is a touch higher because obviously his car may have turned the tyres a little on his run's and a touch of wheelspin near the startline usually get's you a little more MPH.... http://www.turbofast.com.au/Drag.html

Finger's crossed it should be completed by mid year, BUT in saying that you know how thing's are with modified car's, some thing's are just out of your hand's and delay's happen from something as simple as waiting for custom part's or who your employing to do the job slacking off, worst case scenario end year, wont be long now and winter will be gracing us aswell... It's about to go in for round 2 of mod's shortly and im having a fair bit done so I cant wait...

Hey mate, sound's like a beast but unfortunately im definately going the Supra route, I've alway's loved them and it's time to step into 1, as my Capri will be my HWY car so the Supra will fill in the daily duties just nicely, that's not to say it wont end up with a few decent bolt on mod's, I have a mate with a Cressida with stock unopened 2J with just BC cam's and spring's and a 3540 and it made 420rwkw like having a sh!t... If it's the black rugged looking thing with the dinted 1/4, different colored front bar and is on E85, he was shown a clean pair of heel's by about 5 length's on about 3 occasion's...

Yeah nah still got it and kick about, have removed the plates and wheel's now it look's stock as a rock, bastard was to loud and drawing to much attention, also was sick of people asking me was it actually a Turbo or was it an 8 because of how lumpy it is... Cheer's mate, there going on a Modded TT 6spd Supra next, got some new plates going on my Capri, especially for the Expensive Daewoo fan's Yeah was a great movie in it's time, still alot of die hard fan's, but yeah I know what you mean about being daggy nowaday's LOL!!.

  17. Rajab Racing Development's in Campbellfield, Alan has done a number of quick Ford's and know's his sh!t... He has a few BA-FG XR6T's and Phoon's in the build now aswell as a killer Tubbed Skyline with a Barra in it which is being sorted as we speak to hit the track...

  23. Like them or not VL's pretty much paved the way for high performance turbocharging in Australia, Nearly all of the company's that supply Ford stuff these day's pretty much learnt it all on the development of VL's....NIZPRO used to be pretty much nothing but RB's back in the day...
