If there live's were threatened they woulda gotten the f#ck outa there or cop's would be making arrest's on camera for them...
  2. Anybody seen this, it look's like an absolute blast, love to have something like this in Melbourne, the yank's have the same sorta event aswell... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btjm8b78Zew&feature=related

  5. Complete new rear end basically mate... It is getting fully engineered for all this and the engine conversion so it is fairly costly, but minitub's and rear leaf spring's moved in board, brand new 9 inch moly housing or possibly a sheetmetal housing (undecided yet), strange or romac full floater's, strange or romac floating 35 spline billet axles, brand new ventilated disc brake rear kit with inbuilt handbrake, strange nodular iron centre, 35 spline moser true track centre, strange double adjustable alloy shocker's, braided brake line's, handbrake etc made to suit, 15x10's either Alumastar's which I have already or possibly Convo's again in 15x10, slick size will be 28x11.5x15's and for street 325/50/15 ET Street's...Beleive it or not im also having ABS fitted while it's in there which run's no booster, just a master on firewall and a little pump under the dash...

  7. Yeah I will when the car progresses along and I get some more detailed photo's mate... P.S I was just reading on another forum themanwhocannotbenamed has a 4spd powerglide ??? and is racing very shortly...
  8. Accident was in 2002, broken back, foot injuries, neck injuries, other assorted sh!t, my good mate, well known in the performance industry passed away... That's pretty much it guy's I dont really want to delve into it anymore or name name's... Cheer's
  9. I dont sell old school car's unfortunatly KV, I love them, there all keeper's, They will all go to my son's when there older...
  10. LOL nah mate, got plenty of time for that Used to go to the Gym and also box for Northside boxing and was pretty darn good, that was before my acco, im still currently 105kg, but now other that some daily pushup's, light bench press, light bag hitting, stretching and cardio at times I dont do much... A very good mate who was a proffesional fighter for Northside but has now opened a small place of his own tried to lure me back to train last year, I tried and went for a couple of week's but alot of thing's like skipping, long spat's of jogging etc made it to painful on my back so I retired there to LOL!! But I still love the sport... I still do lot's of sh!t at home to keep me from getting rediculously lazy, eg, occasional bike riding, walking, light jogging aswell as what I've mentioned I do above...Have plenty of time to do it...
  11. Yes mate, sold that also, another guy from from Rajab bought it and this is it now... Yes exactly, you have to be smart and think about long term future not just rushing out and buying sh!t which is going to drop in value rapidly, it's stable income but it does have to last the rest of my life, covering all mine and my own family's expences plus lot's of other expenses and stuff like multiple rates, insurances on houses & car's, rego's, bill's, food, clothing etc etc etc... I make reasonably good return's, more than a weekly wage, but I do have alot of overhead cost's and I help out alot of family member's aswell at time's when needed, but I still do pretty ok.... I was going to invest in the share market back then, luckily I didn't, in fact my financial adviser told me the option's back then, either lock it in with the bank which is more solid and garantee'd return's without losing a cent, although not as great as the stock market, or invest in the stock market and have the potential to earn a great deal more, BUT there is also the risk of a loss altogether if something should go bad which as you know it did and people lost million's... I chose bank as I didn't want to risk it, although at some stages I did, but luckily I didn't, and after what happened with GFC I definately wouldn't ever now wether the market boom's again or not... Retirement has it's advantages although get's abit boring at time's, what's good is you dont have to work in the freezing cold winter or stinking heat, I've set up my house so it has everything I need so it's plenty of late morning's, lot's late evening's, plenty of time's to spend with my mrs & young kid's, lot's of time for arvo nap's on the couch while watching a movie or mucking around with car's, or visiting good mates at there workshop's etc...
  12. Yeah im returning it to stock soon, I'll sell it to you then LOL...
  13. LOL You wish Jelly Fish When you gettin another Torry anyhow ??
  14. I would mate but im Retired!! But you have a Black BA with freze plates LOL... Retired mate, to cut a long story short, some year's ago received a 7 figure car acco payout, bought 3 houses outright and had couple hundred k left which I still have invested, cashed in all my super and stuff as I no longer can work and was payed out till retirement, I live in 1 house, was renting out 2, inherited a 4th house after my mum passed away few years ago... So collect rent on 3, remaining money I had left along with cashed in super went into a high interest account which im told by my financial adviser bank's use to lend to people for home loan's etc, so they get there cut and I get a nice profit on my return... Houses when purchased back then were in the mid-high $200k region, rough estimate now on all houses would be about $400-450k each possibly more... Asset rich, cash well off...
  15. Yeah I've had ton's mate, both old school and new, I get bored fast with car's, still got some original Torana hatchback's and stuff like that aswell but yeah that's another story, Capri will be a regular on the highway when it's finished finger's crossed by end year latest, about to go in for rear end work, there old pic's old when engine was getting fitted... GDZLRR I owned aswell but I sold that off to my good mate after he nagged me week in and week out to sell it to him, I know he would take good care of it as he was in love with it, so I sold it to him for a good price and he has changed the motor now and added brakes and a better gearbox etc etc, was a great car but yeah just 1 of those thing's, eventually when im done racing if I dont fit my VL engine into 1 of my Torana SS Hatches, I will probably get another 32 GTR and throw it in, cant beat 4WD on the street....
  16. I own it mate... And this... And this... Have some other's aswell but that's all you need to know, Im Still waiting to see your's though...
