Whats the price on these new turbos cms ? Video would be good.

that's and awesome price skids4kids, I'm sure a stock rear housing should be ok up to about 550-600rwkw wouldn't you think ?

Would you be about to bolt or weld on a T3 to T4 Adaptor bracket onto the stock BA-FG exhaust manifold and run a T4 sized turbine housing ratter ? Also do they come in T4 internal wastegate or only available in internal gate with the modded factory rear housing ?

I think the 427.4rwkw guy was running like 21-22psi on 98, if you add on top what the average HP gain is by switching from E85 without increasing boost etc then it should theoretically be around the 460-470rwkw mark at a "guess" on same boost level, impressive, and I would imagine it should have plenty of room to spare, This turbo would have to be good for like 600rwkw I would imagine seeings GTX35's have made it into the low 500rwkw mark supposedly.

I think its the 67mm version or whatever is the biggest ratter.

Whats the actual outright cost for them does anybody know, I looked on GCG websote but couldn't find the direct fit internal gate XR6T Turbocharger only the external gate model.

There is a guy over on FB who has fitted one of these puppies up and made 427.4rwkw on pump 98. His words were full boost by 3200rpm, his supporting mods are custom 3.5 inch zorst, PW stage 2 cooler, valve springs, injectors and walbro 460 lph pump, stock FG MK 2 XR6T. Very Impressive, E85 would be very interesting.

Spoke to GCG about these, Apparently direct bolt up, never mentioned anything about different oil lines etc, who know's, has anybody bought 1 yet let alone used 1 ?? Interested on some feedback on then, I'd say they would be a little laggier, just how much laggier is the big question... I would dare say they wouldn't want to take a backwards step over the GTX3582R, so I'd say they would have designed something to supercede it in both the lag and boost department...
  9. After something that's simple to fit up without cutting - chopping thing's etc, and then just tune, would like to run a 10 if possible on E85 but pretty much that's about it, I want it reliable as possible as I use it everyday....
  10. Ok beautiful, ratter had me worried for a sec, GTX35 it will be then, I've read people have ran high 9's with them, that's overkill for me but good to know the potential is there... Thank's Veva..
  11. By direct fit I mean, bolt up to exhaust with no mod's, connect up to the original water - oil lines etc etc, obviously not sure what would need modding for it to fit, any idea's ratter ?? What mod's needed for it to be a direct swap over.
  12. Stuff it I think I might just go GTX3582R, should be enough for 450rwkw with a little left in the tank, won't need any mod's and is direct fit up....
  13. Anybody fitted a 6466 to a FG ?? Surely somebody must have ? Just want to know wether 20mm need's to be chopped out of exhaust, what did the turbo cost you pro346 and did you buy it through Rotormaster ??
  14. Does anybody know if the internal gate PT6466 will bolt directly up to a FG Nizpro dump pipe ?? Is there ANY mod's needed at all , as I read previously 20mm has to be chopped out is that correct ??
  15. Just looking at the high stall speed, wouldn't you be best going for something like a 2500rpm stall speed rather than 4000 ?? Would pick up a load of power there alone I would think, especially if the turbo crack's gate at like 2000rpm or less...
  16. Also going off your theory of knocking 50hp off, wouldn't it be even worse with a .82 ?? So a PT 6466 would be about an 850hp turbo ??
  17. skids4kids, I see in down the bottom of your name it say's you have a precision 6466 fitted to your's, what RPM does it start spooiling and what RPM does it hit full boost ?? Must be pretty snappy with a .82 exhaust housing ???
  18. Forgot to add both those prices are for the 950hp direct bolt up version...
  19. Ok got a reply back and this was what he said word for word.... " No problem, just take this as a rough estimate, as we may even package it up at a different price when we put them together, but going off a GTW BALL BEARING Supercore with XR6T Exhaust Housing fitted, and using our custom made bracketry for the actuator ( To suit the Larger .70a/r front housing ), it's comes out to $2680 BB version, In the bush bearing version it would be $2150. Regards " Rough estimation he said, could be a little more, could be a little less, but I'd say it would be pretty much spot on for price I reckon...
  20. There must be a bigger model sixman as GTX3582R is rated to 750hp and there is a 950hp GTW version, maybe it has bigger wheel's I don't know, yet to be seen...
  21. Just got another response from GCG just now, and this is a copy and paste of what he said.... " Hi again, Well we have some pricing already, but no dates as yet, but we will definitely release more information on Facebook and our blog once they become available. As for housing compatibility, we are no doubt going to offer these units with the entire range of housings that fit, and XR6 Turbo direct bolt on is definitely once combo we will be offering. Regards " So they must be doing any necessary mod's so there ready to go off he shelf, I'll msg back again now and see if I can squeeze a rough price or a price out of him....
  22. So if you machine out the exhaust housing it should fit right ?? how many MM bigger difference will the exhaust will be over the GTX35 and the PT6466 ??
  23. I just heard back from GCG who has said that the New upcoming GTW range of turbo's should be able to bolt up directly to stock exhaust manifold, be more responsive than a GTX with there new front blades, and best of all there is a 950hp 35R size turbo coming, he said he will know once he get's his hand's on if it will fit in a stock 1.06 T3 housing... Any idea's when these will be hitting our shores ??
  24. Interesting read Gent's, when is the new GTW series turbo's being released in Aus, any idea's ?? An internally wastegated 950hp version that bolt's up to a stock exhaust manifold will be pretty sweet, I noticed somewhere back in the thread somebody say they are going back to ceramic ball bearing for the GTW series, is this true ?? If so, will it be water cooled ? or are they going the air cooled route as well does anybody know ?? Cheers P.S, Also when you guy's say the GTX3582 is laggy compared to the PT6235 & PT6466, what sort of lag are we talking about here, 500rpm ?? less, more ?? What RPM's are they coming on at and would a stall converter fix the problem?? If so what size ?? ATM I'm Sort of leaning toward's PT6466, but might hold out for the new Garrett GTW version if it's going to be 950hp rated and will bolt directly to stock FG exhaust manifold & be internally gated and stealthy, as I want the car to look factory under the bonnet... Enjoying the read...
  25. I'm pretty sure the older style W211 E55 AMG's were faster than the current C63's and you can buy them at good prices now... Factory Supercharged 5.5ltr and they do like 320k's top speed standard and respond exceptionally to mods and sound near exactly the same as C63 but with a tuff blower whine....
