I have a clunky auto in my BA at the moment that is slow to go into reverse and clunks when it goes into 1st. Anybody know of a good auto tranny place in Brissy or Ipswich? Cheers

I think that the show is defiantly improving. As time goes on the presenters will become more relaxed. You have to remember that these guys would be under a ton of pressure to get this show just right. They have awfully big shoes to fill with Clarkson, Hammond & May. After all those three have had nine series to perfect there banter. Also SBS has no where near the budget of the BBC. Agreed, Charlie Cox could not seem so scripted and loosen up with all the arm gestures.... makes him look like he's trying too hard. Other than that I think that it has alot going for it. How many car shows are there on australian TV that aren't one giant info-mercial? Zero. Top gear puts all the other Aussie "Car shows" to shame IMHO. Keep it coming and the show will only get better, and give them a break FFS!

Well I just finished watching Ep 3 of TGA, and IMHO they have improved over the last two eps. They seem less like there humor attempts are following a script and they are letting there personalities shine through. The review of the X6 by the cartoonist was pretty funny, and the paddock bashing adventure was pure gold! I hope that the quality of eps only improve over time.

GOLD I agree, I think that the show needs polish and that that the presenters need to loosen up a bit and stop trying so hard to be the UK boys. If they gave some candid reviews and not "I love this car because I'm not allowed to can it otherwise the manufacturer will get the sh*ts with the show" reviews then they will have my vote. As was said, the early UK series sucked ass too. We just need to give them some time to warm up. My 2c

Watching this with great interest! I would very much like to get one of these for my BA if it all goes well. I have wanted to do a carputer with satnav, etc. Will this project use the same LCD or same sized LCD? OEM look with all the bells and whistles would be awesome. Awesome work Adam, I'm thinking of putting a carputer into my BA. What I really want to be able to do is control video display on two rear seat LCD's for my kids to watch while the missus and I still listen to music. Have you tried anything like that?
