  1. Lately my car has been using a fair bit of coolant. so far I have replaced the overflow bottle, overflow bottle cap, all the hoses (genuine ford) and all hose clamps. The heater wasnt working so I did the heater mixer shaft also. The whole system has been pressure tested twice. once which found a small leak on the upper radiator hose because the clamp wasnt tight enough and the other we took the spark plugs out to check for head gasket leaks. but it is still leaking we found no traces of water in the cylinders (also used a micro camera). the oil has been dropped and no traces of water there either. The car has been on the hoist 3 times to check from under the car, nothing found here also. does anybody have any ideas where it could possibly be going? My next guess would be maybe the turbo somewhere.
  2. Was it worth the wait?
  3. Mum... meatloaf....... F*ck back on topic- nice car, not many getting around in that colour
  4. I would probably let your insurance company know. They may ask why you didn't report or make the claim straight after the water was in the car so be prepared for that.
  5. was just thinking that. Insurance companies will usually write it off if the water comes over the sills and into the car.
  6. I would be making sure the car doesnt rust where the water came inside. Check all your electrical connections inside the car, everything may be working now but as they start to corrode you wont be happy. water will get in everywhere.

  18. Cruise- Date; sunday 12th feb. time; meet Woree Maccas 10am Where; Ok so we have done our last couple of cruises north of Cairns and the tablelands. This time I think we should go south of Cairns for a change. I havent set exactly where yet as I know there are a few people on here that know the innisfail area well and I dont. I was thinking of somewhere like Bramston beach, or further south like Kurrimine Beach, please keep in mind that we will most likely be hungry when we get there and most definately thirsty for a beverage or 2 so anywhere that can cater for that would be great. Please post here with your suggestions attending- Beau (XAH03) Daniel (810NIK)

  20. Maybe he bought a Holden??
  21. Yeah it would be listed with the insurance policy. I deal with insurance company's every day, some of the crap the approve and disapprove makes me laugh.
  22. I spoke to my tuner about putting it in the boot. The pressure to the motor wouldn't be different, the noise would be a pain in the a$$ but that doesn't really worry me. It's the legalities of having it in the boot and If you get hit hard in the back you could possibly have raw fuel leaking out. The same setup can be done under the car. There is a lot of room under the car behind the rear passenger wheel for the setup.
  23. I've been thinking of doing the same sort of boot setup but not too sure on the legalities and insurance.
  24. Big fan of 360, good to see a couple of his in it. Gotye sh*ts me to tears.
  25. Yep this is what I do. With the stuff they put down before this could be a gel coat which is virtually the same as the polish to make it easier to release the mould.
