  2. when I bought my BOV I seen that there is a plug type of thing that came with it. it has a thread on it for screwing into something. just wondering if anyone has the same BOV and if they know what the plug is for and where it goes on the BOV? Cheers, Beau.
  3. I was speaking to a mate and he was telling me he chucked a set of these ultima shocks in his 04 XR6T. he reckons they are fairly cheap but for the price they are they pretty good. anyone else used these and if so what are they like? http://www.wholesalesuspension.com.au/ultima.html

  6. I have backlash in mine 03 BA T. its a manual too. I've had it back to the dealer a million time and they all said it was not severe enough to fix and was within the tolerance. so I've just learned to deal with it. like all the other guys sais on here you just have to drive it differently.
  7. up here in Cairns we've had a marked red F6 Phoon getting around for a year or so now. before that it was a red Expensive Daewoo monaro.
  8. my girl gets to drive it a bit if she behaves haha. let my old girl drive it once or twice she was affraid of giving it a squirt even with my drunk arse in the back telling her to. let my brother drive it up and down the road and I wouldn't let my dad anywhere near it, he's the lead foot of all lead foots!

  10. I did a search but couldn't find anything. im just wondering if anyone can help me out. how many flashs can you do with the CAPA flash tuner? is there a set limit on how mant times it can be used?

    yep checked all hoses and they are all fine. I think I'll get the injectors and pump in and then a custom tune. I got told by the dyo operator that the valve springs were letting it down but I've read on other posts that guys are get 250rwkw's outta theirs with stock ones. it sucks living in a place where there is inly 2 dynos and they tell ya two different things!

    yeah checked all that and nothing is wrong there. the car is runnig 10psi and then falls back to 8psi

    they did it pulled 181rwkw before the flash. I did the manifold bolts lastnight and found 2 of them quite loose. that might have been part of the problem.

    Hey, Just wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light or ideas on my XR6T. its an 03 BA 5 speed manual, engine mods so far are a monza intercooler, F6 CAI, K7N panel Filter, kompact BOV and CAPA flash tune running 10psi tune. The other week I decided to take my car to the local dyno to make sure AFR's are fine and to get a indication of what sort of power I have gained from the mods. turns out the thing only pulled 200RWKW. im waiting for the funds to build back up for the injectors, valve springs, fuel pump and a custom tune. heres my question: with these mods should my car be making more power than it is considering its only about a 20RWKW step from standard or is it something that the custom tune will unlock? the dyno operator told me that the injectors and valve springs were runnig at 100% and were letting the final power figure down but I have seen and read about other 6Ts making more power with less mods. any help and suggestions would be appreciated. cheers, Beau.
