This is a vid I posted on youtube a couple of weeks ago that. Shows incar of my dads first run of the day with 21 year old slicks on the car(seriously NOT fun). Managed a best of 1:09.9 later in the day. The silver 308 GTB has a $100,000 engine and mumbo's down the straight. Since this video I have pulled the motor down and rebuilt it using larger cams, lighter pistons, lightened the flywheel a little bit more and the biggest change was to modify the front suspension mounting points to get some better geometry change on bump and steer angles. Have a national comp coming up in january so will see how the car performs then. have added the web address as I can't tell if embeded vids are working or not.

my missus went on them a few months ago. almost immediately went from a pack in 1 1/2 days to pack every 3 days, quit on the 8th day and hasn't touched a smoke since and has even become a typical ex smoker. And she had been smoking for 14 years and was able to give up like that. On a side note, apparently champix can be used to beat just about any addiction, not just smoking. It supposedly recognizes your addiction and kills off those cells that want the addiction to continue. (NOTE, I have no proof of this, only what I have been told! Please don't flame me)

the amount of XR's I have seen today is unbelievable. I got followed by 2 on the M4 on the way to my work to pick some stuff up. followed by 1 on the way home, saw 3 at the cumberland highway/M4 intersection, another 2 seperate cars the the GW hwy/Cumberland hwy intersection. another at dunmore st, another at darcy road, one at pendle hill. 3 ouside the mobil on prospect hwy, a black phoon on bungaribee rd, 2 on knox rd doonside and one more on my street (not including ours). and none were cops that I am aware off (although will find out in about 2-3 weeks I suppose if any were) AND this was only 1 trip of about 4 today. edit: And 1 white FG XR8 heading westbound on the M4

GTR2, pretty good graphics, HEAPs of mods to suit your tastes and pretty damn good dynamics with car control.

saw yet another rbt this morning, as well as a blue bf wagon with heavy dark tint and dash lights driving around. I do think it is great, just wish there was some way you could instantly materialize some cops when you need them, like tonight when I saw a p plater in a XR6 n/a doing 100+ in a 60 zone. I really hate these guys as they give the rest of us a bad rep.

well it worked last night. hopefully it will keep working as I will do it the way you mentioned raven. If I have any drama's I will let you guys know. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Raven. Will try that tonight if I get the chance. I do take the cable out of the back of it but normally had the ps3 power turned on but not switched on when connecting the ethernet cable and then reconnecting the power. Will let you know.

over the last week or so I have noticed a larger police presence on the roads as well. Mainly they are set up as RBT's which I have not a single problem in the world about. The more DUI's they throw in jail and the more defected cars they take off the road the better!!! Have also noticed a few highway patrols on the M4 between granville and blacktown which I honestly think would be better spent on the great western highway or other major roads but you can't have everything.

hey smicky, it is a standard motorola modem, SB5101i from optus. there is a bar code sticker on the bottom and says on one line "USB CPE MAC ID: 0016B52A####" generally whenever I try to hook the ps3 up I unplug the modem power cable, swap connectors, and replug in the power cable so am letting it cycle but maybe I'm not leaving it long enough. You should still have my phone number in messages unless it is deleted so if you want to meet up somewhere I am more than happy to. Thanks for your help so far

my mate has a sluch fund, ANY money that he makes from cash or otherwise, any money that is left in a pocket, any he finds etc etc goes into the slush fund. At last count he had close to 10k in it and that is where all his play money comes from. Any track day, semi slicks, parts, pretty much comes out of that except he is smart and takes a little money out of the bank account so that she thinks it costs heaps less than it does. Me, got no money to spend so don't have nothing to hide.

Thanks Smicky, Nah I haven't got a router, I just unplug the pc from the standard optus 'motorola' modem, unplug the mogem power for a minute or 2, plug in the ps3 and turn the power on for both the ps3 and modem. It really is driving me insane as sometimes it works no worries, most times it doesn't work and VERY occasionally if I leave the ps3 hooked up for a few hours it will work eventually. have been advised to try a router but don't know whether that will fix my problem or not. don't really want to buy one to find out it was a waste of money.

mainly play COD 4 and WAW online when the stupid thing works!!! other than that, have played GTAIV once and couldn't stand it and GT5 prologue a couple of times but QUICKLY got the sh!ts with all the other dirty mongrels ramming you and the idiotic penalty system. So, anyone playing ps3 online with the games above, username is kirrajez (hmm, don't ask), send me a friends request and I will reply when the stupid machine wants to let me play online. tried for about an hour to get it to hook up but nope didn't work. all I get is this number "80130182" and it saying internet connection problem blah blah. btw, anyone know what it means and how to fix it??? scary isn't it. I think the worst I had to pay was about the same, between $1.75 and $1.80 for E10 for my runabout (couldn't care less what it uses as it still works), now we are paying the same price as 4 years ago and are crying with relief. BTW, good thread mining there.
