  2. Here is the video of my 2nd session, which was first time out on the new slicks. And it's heaps better in the high res version
  3. you wanna funny story about door to door salesmen, I had one knock on the door and offer me a special price for roller shutters on my windows.................. ALL WHILE STANDING 1 METRE AWAY FROM A WINDOW COVERED BY A SHUTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dumb f@cks.

  5. I don't believe for one second that the date OR name should be changed. This has been our day of celebration for many years and a day that is celebrated by not just the "aussie" race, but all races that live in this country. I live in a very multicultural area, I saw (among others) Italians, lebanese, Indian, pacific islander, irish, english and many more celebrating Australia Day. If it is good enough for them, it is good enough for everyone. For anyone to even consider a date change is wrong imo, leave it as it is, even if we become a republic I wouldn't want it changed to an "independance day" style holiday. I am happy as it is.
  6. that's fine, as long as she is of the same sexual persuasion and your paying for the tickets!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and, NURSE, I seem to have a problem, can you help? it won't go down!!!
  7. classic, never thought about calling it that. I used to live just around the corner, off bridge rd.
  8. ah, you must be just up the road from the hindi temple/shrine/ whatever it is!
  9. nope, but my fathers 21yr old Fiat does, as does my mums 25yr old ex fiat, as do MANY of my customers cars. To this day haven't seen any problem of corrosion, either engine internally or in the fuel system.
  10. Ethanol has a higher octane rating than the same equivalant petrol. This is why people are getting more power out of their cars when running the E10 or 85. As for the fuel economy, the ethanol is less dense than equivalant petrol, thus more is needed to produce the same amount of power as before. As for being corrosive, my 27 year old Fiat has been running E10 ever since it came out, mainly using shell E10 or united. I didn't modify the motor at all, nor the fuel system. Not one item has become soft, broken, etc. the motor is still fine internally (head gasket blew for a different reason so I checked all that crap) with no corrosion. Plugs don't seem to last as long though. Make of this what you will. Another big PRO is that if they ever release E100 (pure ethanol) then we can all get pissed when ever we want by the side of the road or where ever we want, just by syphoning the fuel tank. ethanol is MOONSHINE! Bet the big brother ba$tards decide to put enough petrol in it to make it undrinkable
  11. Would want to hope not, probably would want to eat your brain.

    My New Puppy

I can honestly say that I was that close to adopting one myself if limbo could hav dropped one in on his way past but with, 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 bord and fish we have enough on our plate, oh and the SWMBO wants a cav king charles next. Even had the dog I wanted decided. Anyway, pup looks good and looks to be very happy with you. Hop it becomes a great relationship with you. Edit, DON'T TYPE WHEN PISSED!!!!!!!!! sorry for the many spelling mistakes!

    Stig

aparently it's both, if either can't make it for whatever reason, the other fills in, additionally, between the 2 of them, if there is some form of motorsport or car they haven't competed in, it AIN'T worth competing in!
  15. dunno but if there was it would need to be a bloody long handle to reach the motor at the back!
  16. the very first few F40's only had sliding windows, not even the luxury of mind up, and a cord on the inside to open the door, not even a door handle. Have to agree although it would be my 2nd choice.
  17. I did play modern warfare until I got WAW, then didn't even look at MW again, now have no bloody PS3 to even play any games on. As for my PSN, kirrajez Add me when your online next and I will accept as soon as I get my ps3 back.
  18. After going for a ride in one over the weekend at Goulburn, A Ferrari F430 sucderia. the noise, the brakes, the carbon fibre that is EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!! the stance, the noise, the acceleration, the presence & did I mention the noise??? the engine note is to die for, the brakes are something like 17" carbon ceramic, the interior is minimulistic (no carpet!), DAMN I was scared to touch anything, I sat with my hands in my lap! The car is worth twice as much as my house! a little squirt in 2nd and 3rd saw us on the wrong side of 150, and that was only revving it to 5000rpm, not the 8500rpm limit! Anything that can lap Fiorano in Italy faster than a Ferrari ENZO is something special in my books.
  19. We had a very succesful supersprint on sunday. Ran the car aon friday, luckily as the starter decided to sh!t itself. got that changed and all was good. Sunday started with our lap times about 1:10 for the first 2 sessions, after which we changed from the old sloicks onto the new slicks and immediately dropped into the low 1:07's. Also very succesful for my family in general, my cousin Nick took first in "class SR5" and first outright in his 2 litre turbo, 16V open sports sedan with a lap of 1:05.9, Myself and my father took first & second respectively in "class SR4" and second and third outright with lap times of 1:06.5 and 1:06.9 in our under 2 litre sports sedan My brother also ran his XR6T (which wasn't eligble for any awards) and was VERY happy with his 1:20 considering it was his first time at Wakefield EVER and also his car was completely bog stock and with cheap road tyres. My cousin Nick in his sports sedan (Cheeky bastard beat me on the last lap of his last run!!!!) . Myself in the 2litre sports sedan My wife got some video of me on one of my sessions, will post the youtube video once I get some energy back and can be bothered to get it onto the pc.
  20. I am off to Wakefield Park in the morning, having a little play tomorrow (he, today, Friday!) then having a supersprint on sunday. If anyone is in the area feel free to come out and have a look and say g'day, not that many will be interested as it is basically a full field of Fiats with 1 or 2 lancia's, Alfa's and Ferrari's thrown into the mix.
  21. Does this count as an error Ghosti?
  22. a dark green (what the F@#k it's called I don't know) BF T with a car pulled over on the side of the M4 tonight at prospect. plate # AO.40.YO
  23. fake or not I don't care!!! I want it full size
  24. ah yes, heard that too, BUT all the people claiming to have fixed it by reformatting DIDN'T get the 81000154(?that's from memory) fault code. Anyone who did get fault code and tried reformatting got nowhere. I also figured while it was still under warranty to just get it fixed as it should be.
  25. mrdose, I am more or less the same once the missus goes to bed. I am going to be lost without it. I also have cod4, haven't played it since I got WAW though as I like the older weapons more than the newer stuff. What is your PSN?
