  1. It's more fun in the wet!!!
  2. I may be interested, depending on what some of the rules are. I.E, Is it only open to road registered cars? Are passengers allowed? (want to scare my wife ) Price? How many runs are there on average? Cheers, will wait for the details now.
  3. Geez, somebody get the straight jacket out & call the police, we need priority assistance to the nearest mental institute
  4. If you are looking to do ANYTHING CAMS related, the helmet needs to meet or exceed one or more of the following standards, AS1698 (Aus std), Snell SA95, SA2000, SA2005 (USA std), SFI spec 31.1, 31.2, 31.1A, 31.2A (USA std), BS 6658-85 Type A & A/FR incl ammendments (British std) or 8860-2004 (FIA std) (All these out of the 2008 CAMS manual) In my opinion find one that is obviously comfy and tight, movement is a major pi$$off, and also one that is light. The lighter the better. Can help you to focus more on the driving instead of having to fight the weight of the helmet on your neck.
  5. I l-l-l-lived next t-t-to power l-l-lines. N-n-no-nothin wrong with m-m-mme
  6. Still damn hilarious I reckon.
  7. I have had it for about 2-3 weeks, LOVE it. Great fun trying to keep the Ferrari straight. Play it every few nights trying to beat my best times and drift scores. From memory my best lap is a 1:10.## with the Ferrari and my best drift is about 8500. Have been focusing more on the lap time though. And if only they had put one competitors car in (although it would probably be a 2gb download then
  8. http://www.audiforums.com/m_693578/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about this here but this MUST be a joke. I hope. I pray. God help this guy if he is serious
  9. Spool diffs can be quite dangerous if you don't really know what you are doing. For instance when using a spool diff and the car breaks traction and becomes sideways, IF you lift of the throttle too much the car will SNAP (and I mean snap viciously) hard back the other way (kinda like a tank slapper) I have been around motor racing my entire life and have seen so many cars hit the outside wall at STOP GO at the old Amaroo Park raceway (R.I.P) when cars with spool diffs would snap back when the driver lifted on oversteer. Also a spool diff places massive stresses on the diff housing and mounts, driveshaft ETC. I almost had this happen to myself at Wakefield park a few months ago. My fathers and my new race car has a spool diff that we are in the process of replacing with a proper clutch plate LSD, similar to the XR6T diff. In my opinion, do yourself a favour and go the LSD.
  10. MY dealer is pretty good. Sometimes even drops the stuff off. Oh sorry, your talking about the Ford sort of dealer On a serious note though, What happened is just plain wrong. Send a letter addressed to the appropriate person stateing what happened, your disappointment, DON'T say anything nasty, and suggest they should take action to ensure this doesn't happen again. State what had to be done to get the car mobile again and also how your and your brother were both disadvantaged by this problem. See how that goes.
  11. FARKING CLASSIC. Except wouldn't the extra IQ then make them smarter than a goldfish?

  14. Great article, very well written. Have signed it and also forwarded it on to a few mates as well. (although we all know that the people in with their heads in unsavoury places aren't even going to listen) And I would put my money on the table that these IDIOTS are the ones that cause all this hoon crap
  15. Hey SD, Planning a bit of research and development on your Ford performance radials??
  16. Ok, I now have COD4, have been playing online a fair bit lately. For any others my user name is kirrajez. Add me to your friends. Maybe we need to start a XR6T clan group.

  22. What was the one Dags posted in the random picture thread (can't be bothered searching and posting). That was a good one as nearly 360* (bet you didn't take it though Dags) Some nice photo's guys
  23. My dad used to have those plates on the rally service van we have here in NSW until the rego ran out and he still hadn't registered it for the next 3 months. So he had to hand in the plates and when he asked for them back they wanted some stupid amount of money for them. Oh well. If he still had them I am sure I would have stolen them by now anyway. Old Nissan Urvan running a VL Turbo motor and manual gearbox. Man that thing hoots.
  24. These F@#KERS need their face vandalised. Inconsiderate bastards. I have no feelings for people that have no regard for others property. These idiots should all be put down! Sorry to here about your bad luck mate.
  25. Then there was this bloke claiming he was doing 27sec passes and acting like a general tool. He decided to take the wrong line through the dipper that proceeded to chew him up and spit him into the outer wall End result, 1 broken tie rod end, 1 broken sway bar linkage, 1 near shattered rim, 1 mangled shock tower, 1 bent shock absorber. At a guess and from looking at the damage to the chassis it may be a right off. External damage is fairly small but internally, NOT HAPPPY!
