no prologue is only the appetizer, the full version isn't due for release until later this year. It is the same as GT4 prologue, then the full version. This GT5 demo is just a midnight snack basically.

I suggest the last ferrari, R3 slicks, no traction, normal direction. Or the GTR same specs as above Or the Celica rally spec as above All the cars I drive are the higher spec ones with more grunt (prob like everyone else.)

Yep, just told the wife we are going to live in Victory Lane, she thought it sounded nice until I told her about the 4.5mile private race track. On the bloke up the central coast (coke ceo) the Ferrari car club are trying to get him to hire it to them for track days. If that fails ther is also a plan here in NSW to create a private track surrounded by wineries that will be open ofr hire and such. Hopefully happens in the next 4 years

Ah, yes, the side by side dyno comparison. Jeez it is so easy to rort these things. One day someone is going the stuff them up completely and get them to swap cars from one dyno to the other. People must remember that dyno's are calibrated and it can be done so one reads higher, also setting the load differently will give a different reading, EDIT anyone? Lower the tyre pressures on one of the cars, fit larger diameter tyres, and the easiest one of all GIVE IT LESS THROTTLE. And yes I have seen all these things happen on a dyno infront of me. When you see a difference of 30rwkw out of a N/A 1.8litre 4cyl, you know these things can be rigged easily. Back on topic, GREAT STUFF, GOTTA LOVE FREE FUEL.

Having only recently bought a Turbo I occasionally get the what if thoughts when I hear an XR8 with a great exhaust note but as has been said, you quickly forget that when the foot gets buried. BUT, it is your choice!!!

There are so many variables it isn't funny. What oil is in the trans and diff, what diff ratio, what tyres are on the rear, different mufflers (chamber, perforated, hotdog, straight through) and then you will get variations per car from being a Friday build or mid week build. But as said above we work on a 1rwhp=1f/wkw. Lastly, Different manufacturers measure powr differently. The Japs have been knwn to do a power run with NO accesories attached to the motor (I.e alternator, aircon, power steering, sometimes water pump) where as most european manufacturers will have everything bolted on. What way Ford do it I don't know but these could cause a variation as well.
