  1. My best score was 510,000. Only I was too stupid to think to take a screenshot. Have a look at the top scores overall, some bloke got 1,400,000. I just get bored most of the time and finish the game so couldn't be bothered going for that high. And just had a look, someone got over 2,000,000. Bugger that
  2. The gallardo is awd/4wd with a viscopus coupling. What this does ios it changes the amount torque going to the front wheels for when it is needed. IF the rear wheels start to spin the amount of energy produced in the visous coupling will direct more torque to the front I think the max torque split is F45%-R55% but can be as low as 10%-90% A lot of the WRC manufacturers have been using this for many years.
  3. Don't forget that the Gallardo is AWD. You would want to hope it wouldn't have trouble getting the power down. And why would you want to push the hazard light switch? Just guessing but seems logical that's what it is as just about EVERY other car I have seen has a red hazard switch

Yeah serious $23,000. AND what IS really scary is that I stopped at the car yard and it ain't there, which means some poor sucker has probably gone up and thought "WOW a really cheap F6, Have to buy it NOW" Beside's it being in Granville it probably wouldn't be far off the mark to assume someone did that with the amount of COMPLETE IDIOTS there. And drugo's, and moron's, and just about every other kind of de-generate you can think of. On your mate Hanra, can I ask, Is he not mentally complete? Like why would you?
  5. I believe the PC version is ready (and has been for a few months) to be released BUT it is being held back by the powers that be at Sony.
  6. No probs mate, I just bought a car with a 1.2L pushrod motor, made in 1969 with only 46,000m on it. NOW THAT'S TALKING SLOW!!!
  7. About the only time they would want to use that for a pursuit would be through somewhere like kangaroo valley or up the pacific hwy. Basically any really twisty road. IF it wasn't donated it would surely have been a massive waste of money.
  8. Oh well, I have to drive a 25 year old N/A 2L every day to work. I only get to drive the wife's T on the weekends. Still, reckon my car would be more fun that a commodore! On that I do feel sorry for you. Here's hoping that you can find a decent one in the near future.
  9. Nope, just slow
  10. Nah, I reckon Tab will lock it on 595. Why? Cause he can!!! When is the FPradial MkII coming out?
  11. I know Jim personally. Our families have known each other for about 30 years. Jim would have to be one of the smartest men when it comes to clutches. Some of the accolades that go with Jims name, EVERY car that won at the Calder thunderdome had one of his clutches, NUMEROUS rally and race titles, Drag clutches etc. He can tell you why a clutch disintegrated just by looking at the 5000 pieces you have in your hand. I have one of his clutches in my sports sedan that has seen 8 years abuse so far and not even the slightest bit of slip. send me a pm if you want to know more. PS he is in Brisbane.
  12. Ah Envy, That's the funniest thing I've heard in a while, cheers for sharing that.

Strangely and quite scary is that I think it sold as I haven't seen it for a while. Even more scary is that someone possibly paid as much as $23,000 for it. If it is still there I will take some photo's. I drive past the car yard to go home so will actually stop and see if it just behind some other cars.
  14. no body likes a bragger. Best I got was about 950m before I gave up.
  15. I think "how are the tonsils"would be more like it Tab.
  16. I'll take that as a thank you, and as such your welcome. Mate, stretch your budget to go as far as what revheadrobbo mentioned, will make your car sound better, go better and possibly get better fuel economy. If you can't have the speed may as well have the looks and sound.
  17. bump just for the new members we have floating around. oh and
  18. And don't forget to buy some of superdans Ford Performance Radials too for oyur new rims!! see below for what I mean. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...c=39669&hl= sorry Dan, had to be done, I mean your thread has gone for a month and a half without a post so...
  19. Hehe, maybe we need to organize for 01TXR to race that bike. Out of curiosity, what happened to that thread, did it get deleted cause I can't find it. Only the original moved thread.
  20. by the way, my recommendation is to take the soleniod hose off the front of the turbo compressor housing. The fitting is steel so VERY hard to break, in my case was a lot easier to get to and just as effective.
  21. Just finished taking the car for a drive after cleaning the throttle body and the wastegate solenoid. Didn't seem to make the boost come on any earlyier or any change to the idle (t/body was pretty clean anyway) but it did make a difference while driving slowly and just as it was about to come onto boost there used to be a slight hesitation that is now gone. That could have been attributed to the soleniod or the small split in the end of the hose where it goes onto the soleniod. either way it is a little nicer to drive now. All up took a little under 10 minutes to do both.
  22. And add on another 10% to Dan for me too.
  23. doin some digging Dags??? OR just got the sh!ts deleting needless post like this dribble?
  24. TO try and clarify a few things in the thread, 1, people are baggin the brits for the amount of wars they started and fought in and claiming they are the only ones to do it, what about the romans, Attila and Napolean. There are probably more in history but can't be bothered searching. 2, To anyone who believes in God, Budda, three-headed dog, whatever, Can you explain to me how YOUR god (not anyone else's), etc etc would allow a 2 year old to get cancer and as a result lose colour vision, lose hearing, be infertile for the rest of his life IF he survives. I have never been religious however, by my nephew having cancer has reinforced my belief there is no god. 3, 9/11, the jet fuel and the actual planes damaged the stucture enough that the frame weakened, this resulted in the area of the plane crash to collapse, the subsequent collapse and lack hammer effect of upper floors landing on the one below caused the rest of the building to collapse. Buildings beside the towers collapsed due to damage from falling debris. Anyone who has an idea of structural strength and integrity will know that. 4, whatever the reason for the US going to war, what are you going to do, boycott US products. Unfortunately they have too much influence on the rest of the world. I don't know what to believe honestly so I wil go about my ignorant life, driving with my middle eastern fuel, eating and drinking my western food, using my Asian electronics, and whatever else I use from other parts of the world that would not have been available had at least SOME wars been had. No I have never been to war, nor do I want to go to war. Call me a coward but as said above WW3 will be fought with about 100 bombs and the next with sticks and stones in about 3000 millenuim. We won't even know what hit us. RANT OVER! geez that should get some reply's
  25. AND THAT IS THE MOST REALISTIC, TRUE STATEMENT IN THIS WHOLE THREAD!!!
