  1. Happy Birthday hobo!

  2. Thanks. Only 98 at this stage. I have an mtx-l in the dash pod that I connect to the mpvi
  3. Finally got my car onto a dyno to see how much power its making. Has only been tuned on the road by me. I wish he had stuck his wideband in it for a log but it was just a rush job cause he was busy. Hopefully I can crack 400 Diy road tuned
  4. That's perfect thanks. If I get it working I will post up a diagram for anybody else that is interested.
  5. Hahaha that would be right... Cheers
  6. Does anybody have access to wiring diagrams for an FG? Im trying to adapt an FG throttlebody onto a BA harness and I cant find diagrams anywhere. Any Fg owners out there able take a picture of their throttle body plug showing the wire colours and positions?
  7. I'm not pretending or fooling myself thinking I'm tuning my car to a professional level I know it's a hack job but the car cost 4 grand and is nothing more than a toy to play and learn with. Dropping hundreds of dollars on things I might use once or twice just doesnt make sense. I don't take it that seriously its just a falcon. I could use that money to fix the gaping rust hole in the rear quarter
  8. From what I have heard a lot of the proper knock monitoring tools use the same bosch sensor but they have filtering to make it clearer and software to draw you a pretty graph. It's a similar concept just very simplified and cheaper
  9. If I only I could afford the proper tools hahaha
  10. I used nylon truck air brake hose
  11. I have a manual and I just pushed the wiring through next to the clutch hose. I tried the hose and earmuffs setup under the recommendation of a tuner and I couldn't hear a thing. It was useless I don't know how he tunes like that. I can't really afford a pro knock monitoring tool so I have a ghetto setup with a stock knock sensor with wiring attached that I plug into my laptop so I can record and listen to it at the the same time. It is horrendous to listen to put it works surprisingly well considering it cost nothing. Obviously a professional tuner should have a proper kmon or whatever but for diy it gets the job done
  12. Don't spend more money changing to an npc clutch. I have the coppermix and ceramic dual friction twin plate and it rattles and makes the gearbox sound like it's falling apart. That's just the price you pay for a strong clutch
  13. Single mass. As far as I know no falcon ever came with a dual mass flywheel.
  14. Cool. I have an fg intake so why not the exhaust manifold too. Hopefully an fg oil drain pipe would fit
  15. How hard is it to fit the FG exhaust manifold? how does it go with changing the position of the turbo when it comes to water/oil pipes?
