Hi xr6 typhoon. The hail discount is set by assessors, not Peter Warren. Sounds alittle odd them not wanting to know you? Were there alot of people wandering around?
I have seen that at WSID as recently as 3/8. Two 6.0l Clubsports did not get into the 13's. It was 14.0 to 14.2sec with 5 attempts by each. Yet a stock manual XR6 Turbo managed a 14.02sec the following Wednesday. So go figure.
Hmm I wonder what happened. Yes and we also know where cars sales men sit in the pecking order, don't we ? Somewhere around real estate sales men and lawyers.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Salepeople don't make the rules, they just sell the things.
Jealousy coming through by those who haven't got one or can't afford one <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. I have one customer with a 04 MkI who had it done last week and was made aware of it when he dropped it off. Out of interest I spoke to him the next day and asked him if he thought there was any change in power, he said there was no difference as far as he was concerned.
Just a quick one to hopefully ease my worry. When I give my T wide open throttle in first gear there seams to be smoke coming from the rear (no it's not the tyres). I mainly notice this at night when another car is behind with headlights on, but have seen it in daylight. It's a browny sort of colour. I've seen a couple of Skylines recently do the same thing but have no idea what it is as there is no smell. It doesn't seem to be dust etc as it has happened on different roads.
Can they blur the line a bit more? I smell FUDGE.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No Fudge, just facts. I think it's an important segment and a victory of sorts as that is what most consumers buy in the FPV/HSV range, sedans.
The actual numbers are based on swb sedans only, not including Grange, GTO, Maloo, Maloo R8. Basically it is only GT and GT-P that has done this for Feb, as Typhoon has been on hold since Jan. The numbers are FPV - 121, HSV 113.
If it's a demonstrator it will sit there. FPV have a minimum demostrator period and although I'm not quite sure it could be 90 days. So there is nothing unusual about it at all.
