hi guys im 22 live in Townsville. and I am looking at getting a XR6T. I am looking to mod it in the next year to 300kw. I love manuals but have not driven a semi yet. I like to shift gears and id but id like to be able to drop some smoke I know the auto can chirp like the best but there is something about shifting gears and I have never driven a auto and been happy with it. but I have never been in a XR6T with a semi auto. I have owned a few cars but never a new one and I dont want to jump in blind. I know cars are a cash hole but I want a small cash hole if there is such a think lol. some of the reasons I want a XR6T is its a 4 door that you can put a family in and on a Saturday night go to the drags have some fun. I have been thinking of waiting till next year gives me some time to save some $$$$ and by then ill be at my job more then 8 months. but the wait is killing me I want one now. this will be my first new car and my first big loan. can you guys please give me some advice on a few things if you dont mind. I have had a bit of a read on this forum and found out not to get a 5 speed man box and that gearboxes have trouble. also hand break does not work always work lol and oil sumps are plastic? also the ABS can have some problems. whats a No Go when looking at a XR6T. I know 5 speed manual is a No Go what else should I look out for are the first Ba autos problem child's are they any good? should I be looking at getting a BA MKII or younger for less problems I just dont want to buy a dud. also when getting XR6T is it true that even a K&N filter can void your warranty? if that's true whats the point of getting a new one off the floor if you cant do anything to it. I was thinking of going private or even a car dealer ship. and if I get one from a dealer ship what are the common things they will BS about I dont trust car dealers. should I look at getting my own finance from my bank and paying cash? or a car dealer loan and how long did you have to hold your job before there were going to hand out 25,000 my job is full time casual 40 hours a week 40,000 a year. anyone work for BBHD here? I have been at my job 4 months I herd it was hard to get a loan from a casual job. the only reason its casual is because they can sack me when they want no questions asked. also is anyone else 22 here I will need to get the car Insurance. I have my car now Insurance and its $200 a year that's fire and theft. im shore it will jump up to $3000 a year but I think my bank trusts my driving because the girl put my old 1980 mazda down as $2000 market value. look guys I am very sorry for making a massive post but I dont know anyone and every time I ask I hear something different. a few weeks ago in townsville they had this. there was a ford day on and you get a sledge and get your back into it. all the money went to a good cause cancer I was told. was a VC but not shore because when I got there someone had made a mess of it.

my mother has a Camira. its a Pos she got it for $500 and the thing wont stop falling apart its cost her over 2 years 1500 in bits here and work here. me and my bro last week as we took the head off to replace the gasket. had to lift the engine up and remove the wheel to get into timing belt. I said mate you are looking at wheels car of the year lol.
