http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Safety/Queensland-Road-Rules/Road-rules-refresher/Overtaking.aspx "OVERTAKING You can overtake a vehicle on the left if: you are driving on a multi-lane road and the vehicle can be safely overtaken in a marked lane to the left of the vehicle the vehicle in front is turning right or making a U-turn from the centre of the road and is indicating right the vehicle being overtaken is stationary and it is safe to do so." Undertaking is legal and has been since I got my licence in 2006. Saying that it is illegal shows that you need to refresh your road rules. Trucks should not be in the right hand lane unless absolutely necessary. perhaps go read the road rules before running your mouth to avoid further embarassment. According to TMR website if the vehicle you are overtaking accelerates to the speed limit whilst you are alongside them then you are to slow down and pull in behind them, otherwise you're breaking the road rules and since trucks are 'limited' to 100km/h then you get out of the overtaking lane, you can only overtake someone "if it is legal and safe to do so'. If you wish to argue this marky, please log into the following website and check it for yourself: http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Safety/Queensland-Road-Rules.aspx My biggest hate on the roads are people either using phones, reading the paper, chicks doing makeup, etc as they are not paying 100% attention to the task at hand... Both accidents I have been involved in involve complete lack of concentration. I'm with PAZZOnegger as to motorbike lanes, cause most car and especially bus drivers are just crazy
