  1. Well said Shy, bomber I agree but you haven't lined mine up yet ;-) I'd expect to stick with you from a rolling start, and you'd probably have me off the line. But as long as we're both sending anything with a lion badge back into its den I'm laughing :-D
  2. It was an awesome day for cracking 500rwhp hey DUBBS, was awesome chilling and catching up and having fun. Yeah Clinton's baby, he's done an amazing job putting it together, it runs brilliantly and is just a perfect example of how these should be built, a real credit to himself and Profile Autosports. I haven't ward of anyone ever complain of his work, and looking at the level of detail and dedication he's put into DMENTD is a real credit, and I'm just lucky that Gaz has let me drive it more than he has, I've put the best part of 1100kms on it, Gaz might have about 300 on it now... Oops hahahaha
  3. It's Gaz's build car, still haven't got it finished yet as its not running enough boost currently, it's a bloody ferocious thing, but incredibly smooth and responsive and has really good street manners... Almost enough to try and talk Gaz into trading cars :-)
  4. I've heard the same Ryno, was that run done with MT's??? As I said down the 1/4 a tune only FG f6 should do a high 11/ low 12 with a competent driver, and the coyote with a tune only can do the same. I know of a couple of coyotes getting 11.9's on street tyres and down around an 11.7 on MT's, I'm just saying how awesome it is to be able to run such incredible times with so little coin spent. I don't plan on running MT's down the 1/4, I'm just going to head out and get the best possible time I can, with this setup should be an 11.9 or so, in full street trim. It all comes down to the driver, both cars are proven 11 second vehicles with a tune only, try and find a hsv or chrystler that can do that :-D
  5. I was out cruising both Friday night and Saturday, I have been driving DMENTD lately Took DMENTD and my GS to the RealDyno dyno comp on Saturday, saw some big hp cars show their stuff on the dyno. DMENTD made 565rwhp on a basic runin tune with only 20psi, and my GS still with a tune only pulled an incredible 517rwhp, and then straight after with another run over 500rwhp, couldn't believe it pumping out such an impressive number. And having run a flat 12 1/2 mile pass on crap tyres I can't wait to get out there and smash into the 11's. SMASH MY DATE eh Marky???
  6. That's correct panda, the turbos love the bolt ons. Having said that if you did a tune ONLY on both a turbo and a coyote, the coyote would leave with more hp, and would probably be just as quick down the 1/4. I've managed a flat 12 down the strip with only a tune and filter, and at the next test and tune I will not be leaving until I run an 11 :-) Also on the weekend my car ran 517rwhp at RealDyno, then backed it up with another run over 500rwhp without a cooler, I'm yet to find any other Aussie made vehicle that can return such hp gains with a tune only as these can. I'm just glad that the best ever Aussie built performance vehicles are powered by ford, and fall under the blue oval flag :-)
  7. *drool* those cheerleaders should be the video clip :-D
  8. My GS made 304rwkw... Rated at 315 at flywheel lol
  9. beautiful mate, they're a different beast with a tune :-)
  10. Is that the GT or GS Chriso??? Auto or manual mate???
  11. Oh wow... Those chicks can give me a bath any day :-) Good song though, pretty damn relevant
  12. It does suck though, first time we've had decent weather and the dates clash :-/
  13. Howsee

    My Big Mistake

As Benny said either way you've got probably the two best bang for your buck cars available from Ford, either car you choose for next to no money you can have absolute weapons at your disposal.
  14. Lol at the poor coppers getting stuck, how would you be bahahaha
  15. I get 400+ per tank city driving, on highway it's under 9 per 100kms and around town under 14. Give it a good flogging and can expect big numbers, they're almost the same as the turbos, and definately better than any hsv :-)
  16. Mate it took a good half hour to get it all cleaned up and back underway, so really put everything right back. Yeah mate I was pretty suprised that the GS beat every other Holden, ford and valiant on the track to be overall track champion... Yeah wheel spin is a bit of a problem with it, more so on a track covered in rubber fragments which made it more interesting. The coyotes are definately undertired so some wider rears will definately help with grip. Was great to meet you and I'm glad you had a good time, shame you had to bail out early though
  17. It was an epic day, was a huge turnout and had an absolute blast. Managed to take out 1st in the slalom event and overall track champion, can't wait for the next day in September :-) Hopefully next time it's a little more organised, I know marky and I got held up heaps in backlogs of cars leaving the track, hopefully they improve that for next time :-)
  18. Can't wait now, going to give the GS a bath tomorrow :-)
  19. Hahahaha classic :-) At least your car always looks immaculate bomber :-)
