    Busted Foggy

If your sunglasses are on then your foglights should be off!
  2. They are super lows mate, I had lows and then changed to super lows and my car is as low as yours, but wasn't before. I have proof. Enjoy, the lower the better.

    New Sbr Jigga!

That front splitter looks suspiciously like the BF adornment. ALso the undertray looks huge, whats the bet this gets cut back down to size come race time 2006. I remember hearing that Ford were after more front downforce? Surely this will make them more competitive now?
  4. I went down to BWC last night, very busy, and I had to race a red SS with four blokes in it. He reckons it was stock, but it had twin 2.5" pipes, was very loud and very fast, and was lighting up the rears in second. Too bad I had to beat his arse down in my edited Tee - even if it took me till the top of 4th gear to pull out past him. He was most impressed. I remain adament his car was LS1 edited with zorst though!
  5. I can put a coke can under my side skirt, a coke can is 130mm high. Can you?
  6. I have super lows, its about as low as you can go, and I don't touch on anything, the lowest part of the car sits about 130mm above the ground (spring hangers) and most BIG speed bumps are less than 100mm high. Its more the loooong wheelsbase that is the problem on rollover on ramps etc.
  7. I was watching it download thinking "This site is slow, its not downloading at the usual 600KB/s..." and then its tops right at her *beep*, and thought, that woul dbe f*cking right! SO I leaned in closer to the LCD waiting for it to load.. and then...
  8. I believe most cars gather at the broadwater carpark on saturday nights... but have also heard (as stated by gt290) that all ricers will want to run you... saw a few pics on another forum from one saturday night... lots of nice cars <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I havn't been there for ages LOL! What a dive! But yeah, I used to be a regular, and yes the kids in their rice boxes will try to run you, untill they hear the turbo and they stop bothering.
  9. that's correct stock injectors. Just the edit.
  10. With 400HP I get about 620kms out of a tank (80L) that's driving about 30km past the DTE 0km. For highway driving I get closer to 800kms or Brisbane to Bundy and back on one tank with fuel to spare. Just add the 30kms I drove past the DTE when it read zero.
  11. I nearly got done SUnday night - I was doing 90kmh in an 80 zone as far as my speedo in the work car (XT) was saying, and I spent at least 200m out of 400m of straight road doing that in full view of a laser gun, I gingerly took my foot off the gas and slowed to 80kmh and passed the officers by, and they continued to aim up the street at a couple of cars behind me. Thank god for the 10% tolerance. I'd say I was actually doing 87kmh by the time you take out the 3kmh error in the speedo.
  12. What mods are you running?
  13. I think the biggest giveaway is the standard XT/XR brakes that have bee painted blue, as someone said, they are small, and that calipers are wrong LOL.
  14. Not "UGLY" or some description? I seen a million Monaros and GTOs all black with chrome mags flaoting around the eastern suburbs and NEVER has one of them tried it on with me, I don't know what it is. Must be the Twin 3" tips and the smell of edit...
  15. Mate - no way a pre programed chip with 11psi is gonna we true. FOr starters at 8psi the stock injectors are maxed out at 100% duty cycle at 5500rpm, 11psi woul dsee you engine runing out of fuel at around 4500rpm and and having no power above that. To prove that point a 10psi edit will see you run up to 250rwkw up to 5000rpm and then bang, no more fuel no more boost = no more power. And all that is achieved by spending time on a dyno and adjusting variables in the ecu to suit. A plug in chip is useless and its safe to say you have been taken for a ride. And on that note, a custom tuned 8psi map will make just over 300kw with around 560nm torque. If you tyres done spin in second gear, or you clutch doesn't slip then your not making enough HP as claimed. Simple.
  16. I agree, 6sp auto GT-P in black, but wouldn't be very practical driving ona building site and through sand and bull dust. I'd hate to see what would happen if a piece of earthmoving equipment backed into it... heck not even the XT is any good for that either! And I doubt any of the above polishing methods would rejuvenate the whate enamel on the XT LOL!
  17. Yeah, I've done 4200km in 6 weeks. Cars are for driving, paintings are for looking at. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When you have TWO BA's like I do, one is all expenses paid and is driven Monday to Friday, and the other is all expenses on ME, and driven Sat and Sun. BA XT for weekdays, BA XR6 Turbo for Weekends.
  18. 18 months, never been polished, not a mark on it. How do I do it? My car never comes out in daylight (very very rarely) all night time stuff. And doesn't get driven 5 days a week.
  19. The utes come standard with twin 2.5s so you have to go bigger to make it worthwhile.
  20. They also get hot after the cars been running

    03 Vs 04 Weights

I put my ute on the wiegh bridge at the tip and with two people (110kg combined - we are only little!) 3/4 tank and hardcover it totalled in at 1920kg.
  22. I have 2 x 3.5" Stainless steel tips with a machined lip.
  23. Its noticably heavier - like, three times heavier. Much easier to drive long distances in because you don't have to hold the car in a straight line.

    Too Low?

Sorry to here that man - I am always in fear of something happening to my ute! You think I'd be over it by now, but these things are just so damn good!
  25. I noticed the same thing myself each time I drop my car in for a service and drive the loan car for the day. I think you will find its due to the narrower tyres on the XT. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The XT has 17" 225 dunlops vs 17" 235 dunlops, so go figure!
