Hi all! Just thought I would say g'day! I have been trolling the forums for the last month or so while waiting on delivery of my new XR6 turbo. I have just sold my Hilux SR5 and ordered the brand new build (just gone into production this month apparently in Octane. The beast should be here next week, but already I have spent a bit of coin on things for it. I think its going to be an expensive little item.. haha! Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and that this is a fantastic forum. I cant believe the amount of stuff I have learned before even getting the car! I already have a list of mods a mile long See ya around while I continue to troll for ways to spend money

Ahh sweet man thanks for the info. I emailed a mob in Rocky that do tunes, the bloke seemed to be pretty cluey about the turbos too. He was offering a tune, including flash tuner, regapping plugs, cooler thermostat, replacing hose clips with worm drive clamps and tightening some bolts for $1400 with 3 custom tunes. Sounded like a decent deal. But I'll get on to blueboost, be good to stick with lads from the forum But as I said, I'll be up for a cruise after the next 2 weeks Need to get some k's on the beast!

Lol yeah, its great isnt it :S And now that they have decided to do roadworks between here and Emerald, it takes a nice hour or so to get there instead of the old 40 mins. Maybe at least after the roadworks the road wont be like a goat track from outer Mongolia... Good to hear there are a few enthusiasts in the area though! Just got rid of my hilux, the need for speed was just too strong haha! Should have the new rig in about 2 weeks. You guys got any advice of places to get work done? I'm leaning towards a custom tune pretty soon after getting it... Hijacking the thread sorry!!

Hey mate! I'm relatively new to this, still waiting on delivery of my new XR turbo, but I'm in Blackwater. Seems to be a lot of turbo's around here hey! I'll give you blokes a heads up when I get everything sorted. Cruising is always fun There is certainly bugger all in terms of nice drives out here though :S
