ENVY I had mine tapped into the cig lighter too but it wouldnt trigger the relay, did u have to tap into both the cig lighter cables

Hey Guys, I have just finished wiring a carputer to my car and I have come across a small problem. I am connecting a relay to trigger the inverter to turn on when the car is put onto reds. I need a feed in to let the relay know when to let the power pass. where do you guys recommend I should get the feed from.

ENVY that would be awesome if you can do that.

Hey Guys, ive been through a number of the threads already in search of some help with the rgb converter. I have come to a conclusion but I would like to really pin point what info I need to start installing my carputer again to the icc. can some one please assist with the questions below, - im most likely going to use the vga to cga rgb converter, I know some of the guys here are using this type. can some one assist with the wiring. a quick wiring diagram will be awesome - would a standard vga pci card run the factory icc screen, I have read you need a arcade vga. can some one help with this even a link will be good. ive only owned the car for 3 weeks now, since ive owned it I havent got anything tightened yet. its going back to the dealer this friday to get fixed, I will provide more details on what the solutions is once it get it back

for future reference, I took the car to the mechanics and he said the exhaust gasket is gone or either a nut is loose there. if anyone hears that noise you know what need fixing now

all true I havent got out of the drivers seat yet, it a lot more fun than the NA and I cant believe the stock power that comes out of the thing

I dont know if this will help but it sounds like it is coming from behind the power steering tank under neath the heat shield

Hey Fellas, I have recently upgraded from a NA XR6 to a 06 BF F6 Typhoon im in need of some ones expertise help. after driving the car like a menace for a couple of days I started to get a wierd noise from the engine bay. in the attached photo I have been able to locate the noise in the circled area. when the cars idling theres a ticking noise comming from there, when I heavily accelerate a whinding squicky noise becomes louder. the funny thing is when the car warms up both noises stop. can anyone help me???

Hey Fellas, been a ford driver for the last year now, I currently own a 03 xr6 na. in three months I finally get my full license, the p plate restrictions dont allow me to drive a T. well long story short I will be upgrading to a turbo I would like to spend some $$$ on performace, what transmittion do you recommend 6 speed or the 4 speed? is there a big difference performace wise? cheers...

Hey Guys, I have a BA XR6 NA, I just bought a flash tuner for the car and flashed it to 98 octane tune (by the way is this the regular premium from Mobil?) now every time I rev the car it makes a funny noise. the noise is similar to the one in the video, it sounds like its back firing. should I be worried about this noise? whats it caused from? thanks
